The First Meet

Naisha was Scared. Excited. Petrified. Amused.

She was feeling all kinds of emotions, standing in front of the Red Chillies Entertainment office building. It was classy, elegant, and spacious. The tinted black glass walls made the building stand out, in the midst of the busy area.

Naisha paid her Uber driver the required amount and let out a sigh. A deep sigh.

Deep breaths Naish. Deep breaths.

She held onto her files tightly. The heavy files contained the scripts she wrote, her CV, and her other documents. She made up her mind to impress everyone. Mingle with everybody. This was a new journey and nothing could go wrong now. Everything will be just fine. It was finally her time to shine.

Yeah, that's what she thought until Naisha crashed into someone certain.

'CRASH'

WHAT THE FUCK?!

Both of them screamed at the same time.

"Oh hello! Aap dekh keh nahi chal sakhteh kya? Chalne ki Tameez nahi hai na, toh gharpe betha kijiye!" Naisa said looked at him annoyed.

"Oh hello! Can't you see while walking? If you can't have decency while walking, then just sit at home."

Her files and bag were dropped on the ground. The loose papers were out, creating a big mess.

"Oh hello, ma'am! Baat karne ki Tameez nahi hai na, toh chup rehna sikhiye!" Aryan answered back with the same tone.

"Oh hello, ma'am! If you can't even speak with decency, then keep your mouth shut!

He was on a call with the Netflix team manager. His phone was now on the ground. It broke into two pieces.

"Accha?! Ek toh chori upar seh--" Naisha.

"Huh? Upar seh--"

"Upar seh kyaa thaaa!?" Naisha murmured to herself.

"Upar seh seena jori." Aryan finished looking at her in anger.

"Haan. Thank you."  Naisha said and got down on her knees to get a hold of her files and papers.

Aryan got down on his knees and picked up his phone.

"Sorry boliye." Niasha demanded.

      "Say sorry."

"Excuse me? Galti tumhari thi!" Aryan spoke back.

"Excuse me? The fault is yours!"

He just could not believe it. This tiny girl was picking up a fight with him.

"Yeh front facing accident hai, maine piche seh aake dhakka nahi mara aapko. Dhyaan kaha par hai aapka?" Naisha said back. She was angry.

"This was a front-facing accident. I didn't hit you from the back. What were you even thinking? Where was your attention?"

She just could not believe it. This guy was just too arrogant to even say a simple 'sorry'.

"Oh! Phone pe Girlfriend seh baat ho-rahi thi kya?" Naisha asked noticing his broken phone.

"Oh! You were busy speaking to your Girlfriend on the phone?"

"Excuse me? You're being personal, ma'am." Aryan answered back.

"Hmm, Girlfriend per baat aayi toh itna gussa?" Naisha asked in a slightly teasing tone.

"Hmm, You're getting angry 'cause I dragged your Girlfriend in it?"

"Dekho! Meri koi Girlfriend nai hai. So just shut up." Aryan spoke and involuntarily started helping her with the papers flying around.

"See! I don't have a Girlfriend. So just shut up."

"Ho bhi naki sakti! Aap aur aapka Ego, ek pyaara sah couple jo hai. Happily Ever After." Naisha taunted.

"Yes, sure! It can't be possible. After all, you and your Ego are a lovely couple. Happily Ever After."

"Dekhiye, Ma'am--"  Aryan started.

       "See, ma'am."

"Listen! Aapko na Phone peh baat karne waqt chalna nahi chahiye. Bad Manners." Naisha said quickly before he could speak.

"Listen! You shouldn't speak on the Phone while Walking. Bad Manners."

"Fhat the Wuck! Phone pe baat karne waqt Drive nahi karte, Chal toh sakteh hai!" Aryan looked at her in disbelief. What was she even on to?

"Fhat the Wuck! We shouldn't Drive while speaking on the phone, but can walk for sure!"

"Haan par aapka dhyaan toh divert huya na?" Naisha asked.

"Yeah, but you were not thinking straight right? You were not paying attention."

"Matlab tumhe lag raha hain, ki yaha pe tumhari koi galti nahi hain?!" Aryan asked getting frustrated.

"Means you think you don't have any fault in 'this'?"

"Umm, 40%? 45%? Accha chalo 70-30% kar lete hain."  Naisha said getting up.

         "Umm, 40%? 45%? Okay let'd do it 70-30%?"

"Aghh! Main paagal ho jaungaa! I'm leaving!" Aryan screamed handing her the files, and picking up his phone.

"Aghh! I'll go mad in here! I'm leaving!"

"Arreh! Haan haan jao! Mujhe aapki help chahiye bhi nahi! Maine maangi bhi naahi thi! Khadus kahika! Badtameez!" Naisha screamed back at Aryan's retreating figure, as he walked inside the building.

"Yeah yeah go! I don't want your help! I didn't even ask for it!"

This was when Naisha realized it. All the people in front of the office were staring at her.

Wow! They put on a nice free entertainment show!

I'll make it a three to four parts short story.

Please adjust the Hindi dialogues. Hindi is not my first language. I did the translations from Google.
