Okay, so this was requested by a fan named Amrita <3

Nepotism.

It is known as the practice among those with power or influence of favoring relatives or friends, especially by giving them jobs and other facilities.

Aryan Khan is a type of person who would have everything going wrong in his life but would still insist that he is fine.

Aryan is the acute form of Eccedentesiast.

Eccedentesiast means a person who hides pain behind a smile.

The whole Nepotism fiasco was going on, and he was getting trolled badly. Aryan has always been very aware of all the facilities and privileges he has. He never tried to show it off or tried taking advantage of his benefits.

" Another product of Nepotism! "

" Talentless shit! "

" Just go and die you Nepotism shit! "

" Just because your father is SRK, don't expect that us public will ever accept you. "

P.S : The real ones are more heartbreaking and sickening :(

Aryan slammed his phone on the couch, sick of all the comments he read about himself and his family every day. Every single day! He buried his head in his hands, every single negative thought; all just coming back to him. He had become somewhat immune to all the hate he received over the years, that too without even stepping in the industry. However, there were still some days when all he wanted was to scream at every single person talking shit about him and his family.

Is it seriously his fault that he is Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's first child?

Is it seriously Suhana's fault that the Almighty gave her a beautiful darker skin tone?

Is it seriously Abram's fault that he is a Surrogate child?

However, one thing which he never understood why was the rest of the world so obsessed with his personal life, his flaws, and hardships. Soon, he felt a single tear streaming down his hazel orbs, as he silently slid down on the floor. He wasn't in control of his brain anymore, every single negative comment and thought came flowing into his brain. His general string, dominative and cold aura broke down.

On top of it all, his so-called relationship with Shanon (a girl from USC, he dated for a while in the past) was a rollarcoaster ride. So many ups and downs that by the end of it all, he became exhausted. Their initial sneaking around, their individual insecurities, baseless rumors, haters  and media labelling him as a Casanova/Playboy  and lastly his parent's strong dissaproval. By the end of it, their separation became necessary, although, he was surprized to see how fast she moved on. However, he did learn what he loved about Love, and what he absolutely hated about Love. He learnt what he needed in a Partner, and what he did not.

The past two years were lonely. He was crestfallen. He longed a companion, someone whom he could hug and cling to after a bad day. Someone whom he could count upon no matter what occured in life.

He shut his eyes, looking for the one hope he could hang onto right now, and a face formed inside his head. Amrita!

Amrita Shukla was something else. He felt an inexplainable emotion towards her. Something he was too scared to figure out. They had grown very close to each other over the past month. They spoke everyday. She was the Assistant DOP of the film Pathan, and he on the other hand was serving as an Assistant Director. She was a normal next-door Mumbai girl from Andheri, with big dreams in her eyes of making it big in the Bollywood industry. Moreover, honestly, they had grown very fond of each other in a short span of time and he could not imagine passing a day without speaking to her.

He knew all her childhood stories. How she used to lie to her grandmother and eat those extra sweets and how her mother would always find it out later and give her huge lectures about cavities. He knew she was a huge tea hoader, and that she would always bring home tea bags from every place that she travelled. He knew how much Mumbai meant to her, it was her home; a place she felt safe and secured. He also knew how she would bit her lip every time she went down her memory lane and how she could never utter lies and hated dishonesty.

Being around her made him feel safe and at peace. It was as if everything would be okay at the end of the day.

However, not today.

Today, he could not remove all those vile judgements and spiteful comments from his head. No matter now hard he tried. A sob then escaped his mouth as he ducked his between his thighs. He then heard someone gently knocking on his bedroom door.He lifted his head only to see Amrita. Her eyebrows furrowed with worry and confusion. He stood up quickly, but could not wipe his tears fast enough nor he could hide the broken look and his downhearted state.

Amrita then walked up to him. Her heart was beating rapidly, she never had been this close to him before nor had she ever have seen him like this. Aryan Khan, with his firends and closed ones was always a chilled out, hard-working, passionate and grounded person. He would always remain calm and tranquil. Looking at him so broken, she felt a strong urge to protect him, hide him from the cruel world and keep him safe in her arms; from everything that might hurt him.

Aryan open his mouth, most likely to provide an explanation. However, before he could even utter a word, Amrita wrapped her arms tightly around him. Rubbing his back and whispering sweet things in his ears, just like the way her mother would do when she would be upset. Then getting over the initial shock, he hugged her back; with all his might. As if she was the only thing keeping him alive. Well, at that moment she really was.

" Shh.....everything will be alright Aryan " she whispered in his ears. Her soothing voice relaxed him. He pulled her body on him, tightly gripping her frame; feeling all the negative thoughts slowly fade away. He believed her, he believed that every single thing will be okay at the end of the day, as long as she is there with him.

" Stay with me, please " he whispered back.

We all have our own fears and breakdowns, and it's perfectly alright.
