MELO
-

"Zo, she's been in the shower for the past hour now." I sigh and pace back and forth in her living room.

"What made her upset?" Zo asked.

"Her dad didn't take her pregnancy well, he kicked us out. I shake my head.

His eyes grow wide. I nod and purse my lips together.

He shakes his head and sighs.

"I'm thinking about taking time off and missing some games, so I could be home with her and the baby."

I sit down and my brother nods in agreement.

"Just be the best parent you can be bro." Zo shrugs.

"I don't know man, it's just, what about when I'm traveling and I'm away from them?"

I talk to Zo about a lot of things, especially things like this. He's understanding and open minded.

"Y'all will make it work, y'all always do." He grins.

"Dip?" Mariah's voice came from down the hall and I got up instantly.

"I want you to come to bed please. And hey Zo."

I nod and smile. "Alright."

I dap Zo up and say "goodnight" before walking to her bedroom.

I closed the door behind me and got undressed. I told myself I would shower after she fell asleep.

I get into bed beside her and wrap my arms around her.

"Go to sleep mamas, I'm right here." I kiss her shoulder.

MARIAH
-

Over the past 3 months, me and Melo's relationship was the way it was before.

I moved back in with Melo in Charlotte and we did some baby shopping, and Melos been playing basketball again, but he misses some games to stay home with me.

We were on our way home from an appointment, since I'm 6 months pregnant now.

I readjust my LaFrancé zip up as I look down at it.

"Do you have a shirt on under that?" Melo looks at me as he pulled into the Chick-Fil-a drive thru.

I smile before shaking my head no.

He smacked his lips. "It's November, you need to wear some clothes."

As we get to the intercom to order, my phone starts ringing.

I look at Melo and whisper. "Just get my usual please."

"Dip! I need help!" I shout from the bedroom.

I hear him sigh as he comes up the stairs and to our bedroom.
