Suzy's hand shook, and she tried to free herself, but Jennie held it down.

"What are you doing? Let go of me!" Suzy struggled to free herself from her grasp.

Jennie still held her hand, her smile was cold and dark, and her voice was low and calm, and only she could hear her. "How can I let you go? I won't let you go until the person who killed the baby in my belly is brought to justice."

"Jennie, you..."

"Do you think Irene has died so she can't say anything? Do you think you can press the police into closing the case as soon as possible when Lisa is in a coma? Do you think no one will suspect you, and you can continue to play the innocent Miss Bae, a timid patient who can't stand any stimulation because of mania? Do you think you are safe?"

"Let go of me!"

"Suzy, I'm a person who will seek revenge for the smallest grievances. Every wound you make on my body, I will pay you back ten times. I will never ever forgive you for stealing my baby even if I cut through your heart, stomach, and uterus. Don't think the Manoban family won't suspect you, and no one will do anything to you as long as Lisa doesn't wake up."

Suzy was still trying to get her hand out, but she had no idea where Jennie got the strength to keep holding her wrist so hard that she could almost crush it.

Jisoo didn't reach out to help, because she saw a woman furious at the loss of her baby.

Jisoo had never seen Jennie like this before.

It was not until Jennie finally let go that Suzy was able to free herself. She took a step back and looked at Jennie's flat belly, her heart still fluttering with fear.

"What you said is just your suspicion." Suzy calmed down and tried to stay away from Jennie.

Just then, a policeman came out. When he saw Suzy, he told her to go to the interrogation room to record a confession. Suzy hesitated for a moment and then turned to look at Jennie, who stared at her coldly and said nothing more.

It was snowing when they came out of the police station. Jisoo whispered as she wrapped a scarf around Jennie's neck and walked to the car with her. "Mrs. Manoban, shall I tell the Base about this matter?"

"No, once the Manoban family begins to investigate this matter, the Bae family won't be able to get away with it. Marco, as the president of Shine Group, can't be stupid. Once he knows Suzy played a part in this plot, he would personally put pressure on the police."

"All right. Then let President Manoban handle it. After all, Mr. Manoban hasn't woken up yet, and President Manoban has nowhere to vent.

...

When they returned to the hospital, Lisa was still in a coma, and his ward still did not allow anyone in.

It was dark, so Chitthip took Jennie to the Manoban family.

Again, there was a soup for Jennie at dinner. Since her miscarriage, Jennie had been drinking soup to supplement nourishments almost every day. Jennie had a feeling that Chitthip was trying to find a trace of her son in the world in this way.

Chitthip didn't mention Lisa at all, but now the two words that everyone in this family was most afraid to hear were 'sleeping' and 'vegetable,' which were the results they feared most.

After dinner, Jennie went back to the bedroom, closed the door, and went into the bathroom.

After the shower, she sat by the bed with Lisa's laptop and opened her email box, only to see the work emails from Jennie Manoban Studio, but she didn't want to read them now. She stared at the words on the screen and raised her hand to touch the rose in the vase beside the bed.
