ROOM 38 (GxG) | ONGOING

~•Chapter 25•~

I WAS standing alone in the cold and dark place, the deafening silence was suffocating me. It is hard to breathe. My eyes are hurting for so much darkness.

And then suddenly, the light appears from afar. I got confused when it started moving towards me, and when it got closer, I saw someone is walking while holding the light.

“I’m glad I found you,” a familiar voice echoed in my ears.

She stopped in front of me but I couldn’t see her face because of the light she’s holding.

“You let yourself locked in darkness, Calli. Please come out with me with this light I’m holding.”

My forehead creased.

“W-who…” I muttered.

“If you don’t want to go out with me, you can take the light and free yourself from the darkness I’ve caused you.”

“Wait, Aris?”

She moved the light, letting it reflects her face so I could see it better.

She’s smiling sincerely.

“I am sorry…”

I felt my body shake and heard my mother’s voice, calling me.

“Calli, anak.”

I groaned and turned my body to the other side.

“Calli! Nandito ang boss mo,”

Mabilis akong napadilat at awtomatikong napaupo sa kama ko.

“B-boss?” nanlalaki ang mga matang tanong ko kay mama.

Tumango naman siya at itinuro ang pinto gamit ang kaniyang hinlalaki, “Nandoon sa sala, hihintayin ka na lang daw roon. Sabay raw kayong mag-aalmusal eh.”

“H-ha? Wala naman siyang nasabi sa akin!” I panicked.

“Hay nako, Calli. Kung ako sa’yo mag-ayos ka na dahil hinihintay ka ng boss mo. Ako na muna ang mag-entertain sa kaniya habang wala ka pa, bilisan mo.” ang huling sinabi ni Mama bago lumabas ng kuwarto ko.

The door closed.

I sighed and put my palms on my face, and then ran my fingers through my hair as I remembered my dream.

“What was that?” I mumbled.

Aris…

I remembered her face, smiling sincerely to me.

What the hell is she doing in my dream???

I groaned and got up, shaking my thoughts away.

Inayos ko muna ang higaan ko bago ako kumuha ng susuotin kong uniform and undergarments mula sa aking cabinet. Pagkatapos ay kinuha ko na ang tuwalya ko saka pumasok sa cr upang maligo.

As soon as I removed my clothes, I immediately stepped in the shower and let my naked body be soaked in water.

I closed my eyes and felt the water running through my whole body.

“I am sorry…”

Her pleading voice rang in my ears.

I felt a hot liquid come out from my eyes. It streamed down my face together with the water.

I let out a deep breath and started taking a bath. I remembered Miss L’s waiting for me.

Pagkatapos kong maligo ay nagbihis na ‘ko at nag-ayos ng sarili. Minadali ko na lang din dahil baka sobrang tagal na niyang naghihintay sa akin sa sala.
