Minho nodded while he shrugged. "Yeah, we don't know much of what's going on outside of our company. I'll start. Sungie can add details." Smiling, earing a gentle smack to his thigh. "We were at practice one night; we had started with dance while the others went to practice vocals. Because we liked to be different. It was a free day of sorts; we didn't have any coaches with us. It was to keep us moving and working our vocals.
"We'd been having some downtime and didn't want to get rusty. Sungie and Binnie were supposed to go to the studio after we finished our vocals. They'd been working on a song. Anyway. We finally finished the dance part, moving to the vocals, when we heard weird sounds. Hyung called and messaged me, telling us to hurry to our room. We finally did after a small debate.
"I got Sungie safe and got the room as sealed as possible before settling with him. That's when we realized what was happening. It was gunshots. He slept on and off when he could. There were a couple of times they got close; way too close for comfort. For once, I couldn't get him to calm down. So, I kissed him."
"Min!" Jisung exclaimed, blushing at his words. Surprised Minho would come out and say that to his parents.
Minho smirked at his boyfriend. "It's not like we did anything else but kiss. Anyway. We kissed a lot and figured out we cared for each other. That we had for a while, and in that moment, we didn't want to let those feelings go unheard. We became boyfriends during that moment, realizing that life could flash before our eyes. After you head home, we plan to get permits to fly out to Japan for a weekend getaway. Uhm, back to where I was...
"Right. Finally, after what seemed like forever, the police came for us. We didn't know what was happening, following them, and one of the assailants was still alive. That's how I got shot."
"My dear, are you okay now?"
Minho shrugged, "I don't want to say yes. Physically, I am finally healed fully. But honestly, I've struggled with the mental side of things. Sungie has helped a lot. I wouldn't have gotten through it without him being by my side along with the members. Each day has gotten better. Being out here has me feeling exposed, but it's important to face some of my fears."
"If you need anything we can help with, we will do what we can. It's hard since we only have one more day here. Either of you can call or text. Whatever you need."
"Thank you, Mrs. Han."
She scuffed at him, waving him off, "Really? Just call me mom now. There is no need for such formalities. We've been family for a while now. I always hoped that our Ji would bring home someone like you. Kind, caring, a bit savage when need be." Jisung and Minho giggled at that
"Someone that makes our boy happy." Jisung's father finally spoke up. He was a man of few words, but they left an impactful meaning.
Letting their fingers lace, knowing they were hidden from most other's view. "Thank you, Dad. I love you both." Jisung spoke softly
"We love you." They spoke simultaneously
That night, they saw them off. Jisung cried bittersweet tears, wishing his parents could stay longer. The duo started to prepare for their mini-vacation. This would be the first of many they planned with their manager. Chan double-checked their things four times before sending them to the airport. Even then, he had messaged them to check that they had everything.
The downside was the company. They had decided to send them with a camera. Since they were the first to travel abroad the company told them to film it. Minho rolled his eyes but took it, refusing to start doing anything.
Settling in at the hotel, they decided that would be the perfect time to get the camera out. Jisung got the camera out begrudgingly. Jisung did a walk-through of the space, landing on Minho. Minho began chatting with the camera. Feeling they had enough to start, they cut it.
Deciding they were hungry, they headed to find food. They wandered around a little. The duo brought the camera and let it roll while they chatted and found food. They smiled to themselves, knowing that the production crew would have a field day trying to edit their vlog. That's what they got when they sent them with a camera. It's like they knew better but did it anyway.
Finding food, they filmed a portion before ending it for the night. The duo returned to the hotel. Jisung threw their bags down before turning to find Minho entering their room. He rushed back to him, pushing Minho up against the door.
"What are you doing, bugs?"
"I want you," Jisung spoke into his mouth.
