Put the Pieces Back Together|| MINSUNG

With JYP settled at the head of the table, the paper started coming out. The manager started the meeting by discussing what he saw when he was with the group. That opened the floor for other members to add to what they saw. 

Each member added what they would notice at certain events. Once it was their leader's turn, he smiled. "I'd like to add that Stay was more receptive to what was happening, even better than security. I noticed at several events and music shows if there were unruly individuals, they were overwhelmed. 

"I mean, those individuals were often pushed to the back, where the boys could not hear nor see their slurs. While there were some in every crowd, I saw we still had supporters. At some places, especially socials, there was an increase in follows. While they do not have individual socials, they would follow the official account." Chan finished with the first start of his spiel

The manager nodded, "What about you two? How do you think promotions did? What do you think of this quarter?"

Looking at each other, Minho motioned for Jisung to take the floor first. "I don't know if it was more successful than previous comebacks. I think, as a group, we were more connected, along with being able to connect better to Stay. While we've always had roles within the creative process, we stepped out of those roles into additional roles. 

"Felix and Seungmin joined the writing process with 3Racha, even recording demos. Changbin Hyung joined Minho Hyung and Danceracha in the choreography. Which we were all surprised by! In the last couple of comebacks, we pushed them out quickly. This one, we almost felt, needed to feel- exceptional. 

"I'm not saying they're not all special, just-." Jisung paused, not sure where his jumbled mind was trying to lead

"With the threat of something happening overhead, we wanted to make it ours. Step out of our comfort zones and make something unconditionally ours. Innie-yah even joined Danceracha and Changbin to build the choreography for two songs. We opted out of a choreographer. The team thought about it and then elected me as the leader. 

"So, we made it. But, we almost touched our roots. Making things simpler brought back some fun. We still had specials when we shot the music videos, but they weren't as grand. We focused on the dances and music while adding touches where we thought. We left most of the designs to Hyunjin and Yongok. Once they heard the songs finished, they had ideas rolling. 

"I think Stay appreciated that. We went bold with the albums and photo cards. We haven't seen the numbers, so we're not entirely sure except for what we've been told through the meets." Minho finished

The manager smiled, proud of their answers. "I have the numbers of pre-sale. Along with ongoing sales from the release date to the current date." The salesperson spoke, handing out one paper, and then brought up the calculated sales

"We reached 7 million pre-sales?" Hyunjin spoke, settling into his chair. His arms crossed, utter disbelief written on his face.

"No, flipping way!" Felix censored himself, eyes wide. "How?" 

"That's not including the sales for after." 

"Fuck." Jisung mutters, earning a slap from Chan. "Sorry, hyung!" 

"That is impressive." JYP turned back to the table after viewing the chart on the smart TV. "However, it's time to address the elephant in the room. We have legal in the room. You were out of the dating ban when you decided to date. While I wasn't made aware of these circumstances, others were.

"With that, that was acceptable. There was a lot that has happened in the last two years. Last year, just over three almost four months ago, was one of the worst internal attacks we've ever had. Everyone had something they had to work through. We all lost someone dear to us. We had to heal and recover physically and mentally.

"However, I do not like that you went behind our backs and married. That is one line that I cannot get over. Do not worry, Jisung-ssi. We are not going to start yelling. From my understanding, there was a lack of communication from numerous parties. Minho-ssi, Jisung-ssi, you are at the core of this." Minho sighed. It seemed their manager was getting out of this without a scratch. While they improved their communication, his slipped. 

"We are sorry, PD-nim. We should have placed more trust in our group, our manager, and those above him." Minho started but was halted by a hand held up by JYP. Minho was doing everything he could. He tried to pull all the stops to make this better. 

"I understand that. However, you have made your choices. Now, I have to make mine."

"Wait-" Chan tried to interfere.

"Chan-ssi, enough. Enough from everyone. My decision has been made up." he stated, standing. The sudden movement left the room in silence.
