Infiltrating the castle part II (The True Sibling Supreme)

Back to Twilight's original plan, Pinkie Pie distracts the guards with a Party, many gifts, presents, balloons and cakes. As Pinkie is disguised as a Piñata she taps on a present where Rarity is disguised as a royal guard.

Rarity: At least one part of our expected plan worked unexpectedly.
[uses royal guard medal, door opens and entered]
Rainbow Dash carries Fluttershy as she zooms past the fans

Zephyr Breeze: To be fair, it was never made specifically clear to me what "guarding" actually means, so this is on you.
Applejack: I'm strong, Twilight, but not even I can buck through solid rock.
Twilight Sparkle: That's why I brought a specialist.
[Maud Pie tapping to find a weak spot, chalk drawing to mark a spot, Applejack joints cracking and breaks the rock and entered the underground tunnels.]
Sonic: Knuckles would be jealous of this.
Applejack: Hehe...

[Inside the castle]
Rarity: [deep voice] Next shift. You're on break.
Rarity then opens the window as Rainbow and Fluttershy entered, Rarity uses royal medal to open the door
[geese honking]
Fluttershy: You've been glaring so hard. Who wants a feather massage?
[gesse quiet]

Spike: We mapped this out when we got lost down here. The lever to the secret hallway entrance should be... here.
[secret hallway entrance door opens]
Rainbow Dash: I can't believe this worked!
Spike: I guess sometimes the best plan is the one you expect!
Twilight Sparkle: All I have to do now is fly over and take the crown, and I'll be Sibling Supreme forever!
Shining Armor: Not exactly.
Twilight Sparkle: Oh, come on!
Shining Armor: Gotta admit, it was unexpected for you to do everything exactly how I thought you would. But you should know by now there's no way to beat the true Sibling Surpreme!
Princess Celestia: I am sorry, Twilight, but it looks as though Shining Armor has truly won the crown.
Spike: That's the thing about looks. They can be deceiving. [puts the crown]
Twilight Sparkle: Spike?!
Shining Armor: How in Equestria did you do it?!
Spike: Come on. You two don't think you have the only sibling rivalry. I had few inside help.
[Luna cuddling a geese and Shadow appears]

Sonic and Everypony: Shadow?!
Sonic: Since when did you get involved with this
Shadow: Allow Spike to explain it.
Spike: It wasn't hard to miss there were some disagreements on the whole security thing.
Princess Luna: [flashback] I said we could do it ourselves, but some ponies are a bit more stubborn.
Spike: [voiceover] So, while Shining Armor went on and on about his improved security measures, Luna and I struck a deal. I told her to tell Shadow a help for this so he agreed as well. She put Zephyr in charge of the catacombs and helped keep Celestia out of the castle hallways. Once Luna was on board, Shadow had to do his part...[Shadow shoots a chaos spear to slash open Pinkie's Hot air balloon] and make sure we stuck to Twilight's plan so we'd all get to the throne room at the same time. I knew Shining Armor would let it play out until the last possible second. Then, while everyone was distracted by his gloating, all Luna had to do was float the crown over to me.
Shadow: I've been there at Twilight's castle, hiding, while listening your plans and then Spike told me what he wanted.
Princess Celestia: [clears throat] [forced] I, uh, apologize, for not listening to your concerns, sister. It seems we need to make adjustments to account for threats inside the castle as well as out. If you agree?
Princess Luna: [forced] If you think it's worth discussing.
Rainbow Dash: So, if Twilight and Shining Armor failed, who gets the crown?
Spike: [sighs]
Sonic: I guess we all know who it is
Twilight Sparkle: The true Sibling Supreme. Spike.
Spike: Huh?
Shining Armor: The little brother we've always had.
Mane Six: Awww...
Sonic: Nice one Shadow.
Shadow: Hmph
[Cream arrives the scene]
Cream: Sonic!!!
Sonic: Cream, what is it?
Cream: The Map has shown the next location.

[Back at Twilight's Castle, at the Map of Equestria with Sonic's blue head icon floating]

Twilight Sparkle: Hmm... it seems that the desert is near to Klugetown.
Rarity: That place where we met Capper? Oh I thought I'd never hear that place again.
Applejack: Also where we meet Sonic's younger self.
Shadow: Back in 2017
Sonic: Yeah. Where Stormking and Eggman invaded Equestria.
Rainbow Dash: What kind of Friendship problem has in the middle of the desert?
Amy: I don't think it's a Friendship problem. It could be one of these ancients and Titans.
Sonic: The creepy sky voice mentioned about a desert land but I guess we now know.
Rouge: You think Knuckles or Tails will be there?
Sonic: Maybe...but I will found out right away. Ack!!!
[Sonic's right arm gets full cyber corrupted]

Everyone: [Gasp]
Rarity: Sweetie! What happened to your arm?!
Sonic: It's okay, it's nothing
[Twilight remembers her vision from King Sombra]
Amy: He got that by the time he freed me from my prison.
Sonic: I said I'll be fine. (Continues to walk like it never happened)

[Outside the castle, Sonic transforms into Super Sonic]
Twilight Sparkle: Good luck Sonic.
Amy: And Be careful.
Super Sonic: Careful? Now where's the fun in that.
Twilight Sparkle: If you need anything tell us
Super Sonic: Yeah I will. Cream has Tails' Miles Electric so we can contact each other.

[Cream holding Miles Electric and Super Sonic flies and heads to the desert, Sage from distance watches other them and Disappears]

Twilight Sparkle: Amy...
Amy: Hmm?
Twilight Sparkle: That weird energy on Sonic's arm...Sombra showed our fears....I've seen all of you controlled by Sombra, The Princesses turned into Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon and then I've seen Sonic's being corrupted.
Amy: You've seen this all from Sombra?
Twilight Sparkle: Yes
Applejack: But we've just defeated Sombra shouldn't our fears won't ever happened?
Twilight Sparkle: Maybe...but Sonic's corruption just happened...should I be worried about it?
Rainbow Dash: Well he said he is fine so I don't think you need to worry about it.
Twilight Sparkle: [sigh] Yeah maybe you're right. (Still worrying about it)
