A few weeks have passed by since the death of the Rudeus persona of Arthur, After his clone dissipated, Arthur decided to retain his memories as Rudeus, there were two reasons for this, Although he was Rudeus in a way, he wasn't.

 He left Paul and Zenith just after he was born due to the courtesy of his skills leaving a clone whose personality was left to Great Sage now Minerva to control.

The way she did it was by recreating the child personality of Arthur, or how he was in his childhood in that clone, and she occasionally controlled it. 

When Arthur explained his desire to retain his memories of the clone acting as his Rudeus persona, Minerva tried persuading him how it was completely useless to him, as she was the one who controlled it, and it might be detrimental for him.

But he insisted on getting the memories, the reason was simple, he wanted to do it for his mother Zenith. After all in her eyes, he had died as of now, and he knew how much pain she was in currently.

 He was a hypocrite, and he knew that, but he wanted to erase the pain of Zenith after stealing her from Paul. Thus once he had her within his wraps, he would reveal to her how he was his son, and just twist the story he had told to Maria and others.

This will do two things, firstly the relationship between the two will become stronger, and it will ensure that no problem happens in the future. 

Let's say one day he will get strong enough to revive anyone, heck it wouldn't take him long to achieve that level of powers, and once he gets stronger, obviously the strength of his wives will get stronger as well, and they will become doing Divine acts like resurrecting someone, so will Zenith won't think of resurrecting his son.

Heck if he managed to make her a Goudere for him, then the chances of her wanting to resurrect Rudy would be abysmally low, however, he didn't want to take any chance. 

Not to mention how he will not get the unique feeling of Zenith being different from his other women if he doesn't recognize her as his mother.

(A/N: Man his priorities, all the reasons he may have stated till now might be extras to his real reason 😂)

Thus, Minerva helplessly gives him the memories of his Rudeus clone, which is ironic thinking that he is, in reality, Rudy himself. So after he assimilated the memories of Rudeus, not many changes occurred in his mentality than his recognizing Zenith as his mother as he got more of a first-person film, and he just hated Paul more.

" Zenith, please eat something", said Paul distressed looking at Zenith who still had a sad look on her face, As her eyes turned towards him, they showed intense anger and hatred which made Paul feel a chill on his back. Even after several weeks, Zenith hadn't become a bit warmer towards Paul, except for the fact she hadn't tried to kill him again.

She said in a cold voice," Leave the food, and get out bastard", Paul hurriedly nodded hearing her, and leaving the food on the bed he quickly left the room. Once he closed the door, he sighed sadly reminiscing about his days with Zenith before, and how she behaved towards him. With her lovely smile that always adorned her face, he clenched his fists promising to return their relationship to what it was before.

He knew what kind of woman Zenith was, and even if it took a lot of time, she would forgive him after their second child was born, thinking that he left the place. Meanwhile, Zenith slowly ate the food, which can be said to be quite tasty made with great patience by Paul, but not a bit of happiness was on her face.

The face of his dead son kept haunting her through the past weeks, she just wished she could have the strength to kill the bastard that killed her beloved son, her husband, Paul. But she knew she neither had the strength nor the will to do so, now. The reason was simple, she was pregnant, and she didn't want to kill her innocent unborn child, by injuring herself.
