Yes, it did baffle her that something as rare as magic was used for doing mere chores, but again she couldn't judge Arthur's standards by others, and she quickly got an example of it when Maria showed her chantless incantation.

Yes, she was a saint-rank magician and a King-rank magician, she had the Unique Sound Element Magic up to King Rank, Barrier, healing, detoxification, and Water Magic up to Saint Rank, and Wind Magic up to intermediate Rank.

Her prowess was no joke considering just like Arthur she was capable of chantless magic. Lilia got interested hearing the name of the woman she had not met, she knew that there was another woman called Hilda, who was Arthur's concubine and she couldn't understand why she didn't live with them in the castle. Maria could tell that Lilia had above-average mana, and if she had gotten a good teacher she could have become an advanced-rank magician, but as of now she could become an intermediate-rank magician at most. Still, she didn't care much about it, since after becoming Arthur's woman she is bound to get from talentless to a fucking genius. Maria was the same, and she had just average mana, even lower than Lilia's.

After training, Lilia was sent to attend Arthur, unknown to her Maria decided to give her a push, since she was already aware that Arthur wanted Lilia, but she underestimated her so much and was so disgusted with herself that she ignored the hints that Arthur was giving. Finally, she arrived at Arthur's room, with a plate of delicious cakes and some tea.

She opened the room to see Zenith clinging to Arthur's left hand while he played something called 'chess' with Minerva. " Lord Arthur, Lady Minerva, and Lady Zenith, here are the cakes and tea ", she said formally, knowing well unlike Maria she was an official maid and had no friendship with any of the women, except Zenith and Arthur, thus she needed to give her respect to them every time.
