Dinner at the Tangsakyuen home

Pond was surprised when he saw Joong walking in behind Dunk.

"Hooi, look what the cat dragged in. Didn't expect to see you, Joong."

"We just finished filming with Phi Arm. Dunk was invited onto the  Armshare variety show." Joong explained. Pond nodded with understanding. Dunk gave Pond a side hug asking him to show Joong around while he cooked. He sees Ponds whispering something to Dunk's ears before Dunk leaves for the kitchen. Joong felt a little jealous of how close Pond was to Dunk but quickly reminded himself that they had known each other since young.

It was a nice suburban house. Nothing too fancy. Nothing that spoke of his CEO status. It was rather homey in fact. Pond then explained that this house was the only thing that his parents had left for them. They were catching up with each other's life before Dunk had called out that dinner was ready. Phuwin and Gemini coming out from their respective bedroom were surprised to see Joong at the table.

"Hia's going to be on Armshare?" Gemini clapped excitedly after learning why Joong was there.

"Don't mention it. Phi New and Phi Janhae has been widening my job scope recently. I haven't been on this much media throughout my career." Dunk shook his head while complaining.

"You don't look it though. You were really good on set." Joong was surprised.

"Dunk may be an introvert by nature but he is really good at socializing. He can be really convincing when he needs to. It's why he is so good at what he does." Pond whispers conspiringly.

"What nonsense are you feeding Joong?" Dunk glared at Pond.

"Bplao (nothing)...." Pond said innocently.

"You better not be... If not, I'll definitely not be cooking your favourite dish the next round." Dunk points the fork at him as he says. Pond throws his best puppy eyes at Dunk, promising that he will only say good things about him. It was then that Joong realizes that Dunk had cooked everyone's favourite dish including his. He was surprised by that. Perhaps that was what Pond was whispering to Dunk.

"Which is your favourite dish?" he asked Dunk. Everyone stops eating at the table and look towards Dunk.

"I don't have one. I can eat anything. I haven't eaten a dish that I don't like as of yet." Dunk said as a matter of fact. Joong had a hard time processing that. Phuwin's words at Hua Hin echoed in his mind. He scoops some of dishes onto Dunk's plate, slowly developing the habit of making sure that Dunk was eating along with the rest of them since the dinner at Hua Hin.

Pond had looked on curiously. He then looks over to Phuwin. Gemini witnessed as Pond and Phuwin exchanged a silent conversation just by looking at each other along with small eyebrow and head gestures. They ended their conversation with a silent agreement which Gemini knows Phuwin will let him in once they were alone. They moved on to an easy conversation with Pond sharing with them all the crazy things that Joong and he did in uni. It made all of them laugh with tears in their eyes.

"I'm glad to know you had that much fun despite needing to help me out." Dunk said sincerely to Pond as he wiped his tears from laughing.

"Dunk..." Dunk waved Pond off before he could say anything further.

"It's rather late. Do you want to stay for the night, Joong?" Dunk changing the topic to close the previous conversation quickly.

"I don't want be of inconvenience to you plus I don't have anything with me."

"You can borrow my clothes, Pond sleeps over all the time. You can bunk with Pond in my room. I'll be sharing with either Phuwin or Gemini." Pond agreed.

"Sleepover!! The three of us haven't done it in a long time... Phuwin's bedroom then, it's cleaner" Gemini clapped excitedly.

"We haven't done it since we were young. Are you sure the 3 of us can fit on the bed?" Dunk looked towards the twins. Both of the them nodded enthusiastically. Dunk just shakes his head.

Pond walks over to Dunk giving him a hug and a kiss to the crown of head. "thank you for the dinner, teerak (darling)." The twins gave Dunk a hug as well, letting him know that they will take care of the dishes. Pond taps Joong on the shoulder, gesturing him to follow him. Joong followed quietly behind him. He didn't know what of make of the interaction he just saw. He was certain that Pond didn't introduce Dunk as his faen. Perhaps its routine for them. Pond seems very much like a part of this family. Joong felt confused by it all.

A/N: Is Pond messing with Joong? 😆😆. Just out of curiosity, are there any PondDunk fans here? Just wondering if there's anyone who likes the idea of this ghostship. 

Oh yea, why are their surname Tangsakyuen instead of Boonprasert? I noticed this in hidden agenda series as well as some other thai series that they would only use hia  if the family has chinese ancestry, so happens Phuwin has a chinese name so naturally using his surname makes sense to me. it's just fun to mix around anyway. 

on a side note to fellow writers/ wattpad users, do you all receive like weird messages that ask you whether you wanna join this platform or that platform? I've received one on neobook and another on ireader. don't really know how to make sense of it. I'm still new to wattpad.
