A moment with Joong's family

They had a few weeks of peace with Joong visiting Dunk's house whenever he can for a quiet movie night or a meal together. He knows that Dunk prefer to spend his free time at home with the limited amount of time that he has with his siblings. Most importantly, there's less chance of meeting the paparazzi at Dunk's place compared to his studio room in the city centre. Their fandom will have a field day if they ever knew about it.

Even so, Dunk had stepped foot in Joong's studio room just once. Joong had gotten incredible news that he was nominated for best actor of the year. His family was flying in to witness the occasion. Dunk had volunteered to help Joong clean his place to accommodate his family. Once he saw Joong's double bed size, he offered to host his family.

"I don't want to be of inconvenience to you and the twins. It's too much to ask you all to bunk together for my family" Joong argued.

"We won't need to bunk together. There's another room that your mom and siblings could use. It's not an inconvenience at all. Just that you will need to arrange that room with Pond." Joong was curious as to what Dunk meant.

Pond had guided Joong into the room, asking if there is anything that his family will need. They had quietly arranged it together.

"Dunk will never step foot in here. This is his parents' room. The twins followed him in this matter so I'm not sure what are their take on this. But Dunk does have someone clean the room every now and then." Pond said as he patted the pillow. Joong was shocked by it. How could he ask Dunk of this?

"Don't think about rejecting it now. It's a big step forward for him. It also shows how important you are to him. I'm telling you so you aren't going in blind." Pond continued. Joong nodded quietly. He sees his parents' photo and noticed how much Dunk looked like his mother.

Joong's mom had embraced Dunk like a son, even more so when she learnt of the significance of the room that she is staying in. His siblings adored the Tangsakyuen brothers, since the twins have time to play with them after school hours. Dunk indulges in them more than Joong does.

Joong begins to think that perhaps his mother hadn't just adopted Dunk but all three of them in the process as he sees how she interacted with them during dinner. He wasn't the only one who saw that. Later that night, he saw Dunk thanking her for showing love to his brothers as there is only so much that he can do in his parents' absence. Dunk sobs as she embraces him, telling him that he is doing great as it is. He witnessed the healing that happened within Dunk. Joong had hugged Dunk to sleep that night with a smile on his face. This was the best decision that he had ever made.
