Dunk had just switched off his laptop after attending his last zoom meeting for the day before chaos ensued. The twins burst through the door. Gemini was quick to put the eye mask on him. He was whisked into the car after. Pond had assured him that he was driving and not the twins before telling him to take a nap as it's going to take a while. He knew there was no getting out of this so he just went with the flow.
The sound of the ocean waves was a dead give away on where he was. He walked gingerly on the uneven sand on the beach. He was curious when the twins stopped guiding him forward. Phuwin takes off the eye mask. They waited as his eyes slowly adjust. He sees Joong walking towards him with a birthday cake while Pond, Phuwin, Gemini and Fourth sang the happy birthday song. Dunk wore a soft smile. He laughed while shaking his head. He can't help but feel touched by their gesture.
"Make a wish." Joong said softly. Dunk did as he was told and proceeded to blow the candles. He thanked everyone present for planning this surprise for him. They moved towards the table where the food was already served. They chatted carefreely as they ate. Dunk enjoyed the family moment more than anything. That was his greatest joy and gift for this special occasion. When he voiced out this sentiment, the rest were quick to put it down. The twins insisted that gifts are a must for a birthday. Everyone started to pass the gift they had bought to Dunk. Dunk was surprised when Gemini and Fourth handed him a present together.
"Suk san wan gert, Phi. Khoor hai kang leng, khoor hai mi kwaam suk maak maak...laeow gor... yaak baawk wa... gu gab Gemini hook gan na khup. I hope you'll bless us." Fourth said shyly. Dunk laughed and hugged them both. Everyone cheered.
Rough translation: Happy birthday, brother. Wishing you good health & lots of happiness... and... I would like to tell you that... Gemini and I are together.
