Phuwin wiped Dunk's arms as he cleaned him. He had never done this for Dunk before. In all the years, they've been together. It had always been Dunk who was taking care of them. For their role to be reversed seemed unnatural.
"Hia, when are you going to wake up? I know I always pester you to rest more but I think this is a little too long na. Dtern leow (wake up), Hia. Please wake up." He couldn't help but sob. He felt Pond's hand on his shoulder. He hugged him as he sobbed into his chest. He felt Dunk's finger twitch on his thigh. He was wondering if he was imagining things but then he saw it with his own two eyes that it was actually twitching. He pressed the help button urgently.
Joong walked in as Dunk opened his eyes. Medical personnel had rushed over before he could even greet Dunk. Tears of relief rolled down his face.
It took a while for Dunk to orient himself. He doesn't remember much of what happened, to say that he had been in a coma for a month was bizarre to him. Joong was hugging him tightly and had been unwilling to let go since he came to. Dunk stroked his back as he comforted him.

"Hey, hey, I'm fine. I promise not to do it again whatever it was that I did." Dunk was still as confused as to why he was in the hospital.
"You took the bullet for me and almost died. I nearly lost you. I nearly lost you..." Joong hugged him tighter as he sobbed.
"Gu yu nii, Gu yu nii (I'm here). I'm not leaving you..." Dunk planted a kiss on his shoulder.
