The next morning, I am almost late to my own game.  I woke up late and after I chugged a potion for my hangover, and got dressed, I was quite behind.  I grab a whole box of granola bars and a premade can of coffee and apparate outside the pitch.

A few fans call out to me as I duck inside, but I don't have time to stop.  I burst into the locker room, where Vivian is scowling.

"You're late, Taylor!"

"I'm sorry!  I'm here."  I quickly change into my uniform, not bothering to go all the way down to the changing rooms.  Alex whistles and I shoot him a glare.

"Now that we're all here," Vivian looks pointedly at me, "the Magpies are one of the most successful in the league.  Their fast, sharp, and are excellent feinters.  Don't be easily deceived."

I nod along with the team, straightening my uniform a bit still.  I had left Mia still asleep in my bed.

"We have five minutes before the game starts.  Taylor, drink your coffee."  She snaps at me, turning to take a peek outside at the stands.  I obey, cracking open the can and downing half of it in one go.  I also take the opportunity to eat a few of the granola bars.

"Time to head out!"  Vivian calls and I finish my coffee, joining my place in line behind Martin.  We march out onto the field, heads held high, brooms clenched in out right hands.  We each stand on our starting points as the referee goes through his opening spiel.

"Three, Two, One, Go!"  The crowd cheers and the game starts.  I fly up in the air, eyes scanning for the bludgers.  I still can't believe this is my job.  How cool is this?

It's very evident that the magpies are a different type of team altogether.  They don't use any of the standard maneuvers, often doing things that seem counterintuitive.  Vivian is stressing out as the score reaches eighty to ten, in their favor.  It's only been ten minutes, and we're already down seventy.  This is not a good sign.  If we don't start catching up, not even the snitch will be able to save us.

I start playing a bit different, relying on my instinct rather than flying patterns.  Perhaps I should feel bad, using my underlying divination skills.  But I've read through the rules, and as long as I'm not paying for someone else to do it, it's legal.

Martin seems confused by my new plays, but goes along with it, trusting me.  The match slowly starts to even out as their teams gets less goals, and ours starts catching up.

About two hours in, a time out is called and we all land down on the grass below.  The score reads four hundred and ninety to four hundred and eighty, in our favor.

"I don't know what kind of trick you're pulling Taylor, but whatever it is, is working.  Keep it up."  Vivian nods to me, and I feel like I've been able to compensate for this morning.  We all drink some water and stretch our legs before hopping back on our brooms to resume the match.

The game continues and I keep dipping into my seer abilities to help the team.  The senses are getting stronger and stronger, and I worry I've been pushing myself too far.  I see a vivid imagery of the catching to the snitch, seconds before it happens.  I send a bludger, blocking the Magpie seeker at the last second, giving us the win.

The crowds burst into applause, and I feel the world spin a little as the noise washes over me.  I hover in the sky, knuckles white as a grip my broom.  The edges of my vision darken a little with every heart beat.  I try to hold on, but I can't fight it off.  The darkness clouds my vision completely, and the last thing I feel is the broom slipping out from under me.

I wake up in Dumbledore's office.  This is not where I expect to be.  I recall the match and passing out at the end of the game.  Shouldn't I be at St. Mungos or something?
