After the snack, we wander back through the castle in the general direction of the great hall. Class is still in session so the halls are empty. Anthony likes the portraits quite a bit, stopping to talk to a few of them along the way.
"It must have been so much fun to go to school here." He muses, spinning in a slow circle.
"It was when Harry Potter wasn't here." I snort, remembering all the things the poor kid was dragged into.
"Is he really that much of an inconvenience? He's just a kid." Anthony ponders, gazing up at a rather large painting of an elephant.
"He is what he was made into." I sigh, feeling a bit bad for Harry. "He is just a kid, but the Dark Lord and Dumbledore forced him into everything."
"I suppose." Anthony shrugs. "Want to go for a walk outside?"
"Oh, sure." I agree, blinking from the topic change. Anthony grabs my hand and pulls me towards the giant double doors of the castle. I look at our hands, clasped together. It makes me sad. I wish, oh how I wish, I was holding Fred's hand instead.
But then Anthony leads me outside, and I banish thoughts of Fred from my mind.
The cold wind blows, cutting through my clothes and causing me to shiver. I pull my wand out and cast a warming charm on both of us, relaxing as the cold fades away.
"So what about the lake?" He asks, heading in that direction.
"What about it?"
"Is it a romantic place?" He winks, and I roll my eyes.
"It can be." I tell him.
"Is this another thing I'll have to find out?"
"That's not what I meant." I chuckle, shaking my head. Perhaps I should be annoyed by all his flirting, but I'm not. I find it charming.
"Wait, is the lake another place you take your boys?" He gasps, turning on me.
"No!" I squeak, but then remember otherwise. "Well, just once."
"Is there a place in this school you haven't taken a boy?" He laughs good naturedly.
"Probably not." I giggle as well.
"You vex me endlessly." He groans, but is still smiling.
"I apologize, as that was never my intention."
"Perhaps you should make it up to me." He suggests.
"Hmm? And how do you propose I do that?" I hum, stepping closer to him.
"I can think of a few things." He murmurs, hands sliding around my waist.
"Do tell." I place my hands on his chest, blushing at the feeling of his muscles under his shirt.
"You could kiss me." He whispers, his voice deepening with desire. Merlin, he sounds sexy. I have to stand on my tip toes to reach him. I press my lips to his, feeling a bit shy. He growls, his hands on my waist tightening as he pulls my body against his. I gasp as I feel his tongue flicker across my lip, letting him in.
I cling to him tightly as his kiss alights me. My hands slide up and knot in his hair, pressing my body as close to his as possible. Our tongues dance and I accidentally let out a small moan.
Suddenly, Anthony releases me, stepping back. I blush, embarrassed that I lost control of myself for a moment.
"Don't be embarrassed, love." He says, his voice deep still. "I just don't fancy taking you here in the open."
"Oh." My mouth pops open in surprise.
"Come." He demands, grabbing my hand and pulling me back to the castle. Giggling, I run up the lawn to the doors, following him inside. We head into the Great Hall and I give him a questioning look.
"I saw a door up here, and I may be a bit curious." He explains, pulling me up by the head table. He opens the door, and I remember this room from back in first year, waiting to be sorted.
He closes the door behind me, and pulls me to him.
"Permission to kiss you?" He asks, taking my chin in one of his hands.
"Granted." I breathe, staring into his eyes.

We exit the side room a bit disheveled. I pull my dress down, blushing slightly. I look up to meet the eyes of the headmaster where he sits at the table.
He doesn't say anything, and neither do I.
"Hello, sir." Anthony says cheekily, breaking the silence. Snape sighs loudly.
"Mr. Schmidt." He drawls. I grab Anthony's hand and drag him to the Hufflepuff table. Dinner will be starting in a few minutes. I sit, dropping his hand. I squeak when he places it on my thigh instead.
"You smell like me now." Anthony murmurs into my ear, causing me to blush.
"What?"
"Wolf senses." He winks, tapping his nose. "I can smell me all over you."
"I wonder why." I retort sarcastically.
"I like it." He growls, squeezing my thigh.
"Oh, shove off." I snort, shoving him slightly away. He doesn't respond, but leans away with a smirk on his handsome face.
Students start trickling in, taking their seats at the various tables. When the food starts appearing, I eagerly dig in. I suppose I worked up a bit of an appetite.
My mind drifts back to the interaction with Anthony in the side room. It had been pleasant enough. Is it bad that I can't help but compare him to Fred? I try not to, but my mind keeps doing it.
Anthony had been quite different. Not in a bad way or anything. But while Fred was eager and passionate, Anthony was more intense and controlling. Perhaps that is the effect of the wolf on him.
"What are you thinking about?" Anthony asks, pulling my out of my own head.
"N-nothing." I blush, a bit mortified to have been caught.
"Me too." He winks and licks his lips suggestively.
"Shut up." I grumble, shoving a bite of potato in my mouth.
"Make me." He taunts, leaning closer to me with a grin plastered on his face.
"No." I reply, completely deadpan.
"Awww, you're no fun." He sulks back in his seat.
"Really? Then I guess you don't want to hook up again. It must be a bore with someone like me." I comment with a slight shrug. "I wouldn't want to bore you, now."
"Alright, fine. I take it back." He laughs. "You are the most interesting person I have ever met."
"Now it just feels like you're lying to me to get into my pants."
"But you're not wearing pants." He murmurs into my ear, causing my face to heat up.
"Well, you should have been more gentle with them." I grumble.
"Not my style, sweetheart."
"Not my style, sweetheart." I mimic, rolling my eyes.
"You're insufferable." Anthony scoffs, returning his attention to his food.
"Thank you."
We finish eating dinner and Anthony leads me out into the hallway. He seems to have a destination in mind as he pulls be through the corridors. I almost have to run to keep up with his long legs.
Once alone, he pushes me against the wall, pinning my arms above my head.
"Ready for dessert?" He purrs, kissing my neck.
"Yes, please."
