Tw: mention of SA

I start feeling a bit restless two days before Christmas.  I feel all anxious and twitching.  Every noise makes me jump, leaving me constantly on edge.  I feel bad that I wasn't able to learn any information about Luna.  I had to be careful, because I'm not even supposed to know that the train was attacked.  Unfortunately, no one let anything slip.

After lunch, I decide to take my nervous energy to the library to see if I can find something to distract myself.  I end up  familiar section without intentionally meaning to come here.  I smile as I gaze at the potion books that I've spent man hours pouring over.  I pull one of my old favorites from fourth year off the shelf and crack it open.  As I flip thought it, I come across a small coffee stain on one of the pages.  I chuckle softly, running my finger tips over it. I had been studying late into the night, and had fallen asleep mid sentence, spilling my coffee of the page.  A few chapters later I find a page where Mia had drawn a little smiley face to cheer me up after a Ravenclaw boy called me ugly.

I put the book back on the shelf, missing my best friend.  I hope she's doing okay.  I hope her and her moms have gone someplace safe and very far away.  The way people were being kidnapped and sold by snatchers makes me shudder.

I round the corner, still lost in my own thoughts.  I stumble back as I bump into a firm chest.

"Hello, darling."  He sneers down at me, and my heart rate sky rockets.  I grab my wand, gripping it firmly in my hand.

"What do you want?"  I manage to choke out, memories of him finding me in the place, flooding through me.

"Is the poor little girl still scared."  He grins, his foul breath hot on my face.  I can't breathe, my mind screaming incoherently.  He traces a finger down my cheek, his skin like ice.  "It was so easy to break you."

"I'm not broken."  I growl, trying to calm my racing heart.

"Now, there's no use lying."  Amycus chuckles.

"Leave me alone."  I demand, mustering my courage.  I can't show him weakness.  I am not defenseless this time.  His hand slips down from my cheek, slowly closing around my throat.

"All this fight just makes you more tempting."  He grins, hand tightening slightly.  "I like a girl with some fight."

I narrow my eyes, raising my wand.  I silently cast a stunning charm on him, watching as he falls to the ground at my feet.  I step over him, pausing to kneel besides his head.

"If you ever touch me again, I will kill you.  Do I make myself clear?"  I state calmly.  Leaving him on the ground, I walk out of the library, my head held high. I keep my composure as I walk through the castle. I close myself in my room, leaning against the door.  The moment I'm alone, I fall apart.

Sobs wrack my body and I slide down to the floor.  Hot tears drip down my cheeks and over my hands.  Unwanted memories of him looming over me fill my head.  How he had laughed as I cried.  How he had enjoyed it when it hurt me.  The way he kept telling me I deserved to be treated like this.

"No, no, no."  I cry, rocking softly.  "Make it stop."

I stay there, rocking and chanting softly, trying to keep ahold of reality as everything crumbles inside me.

Eventually I feel someone's hands on my shoulders.  I jump, frantically swinging.  My fist makes contact and the person grunts.  I open my eyes and see that I've just punched my roommate.

"Oh, Merlin!"  I gasp, my voice shaking.  "I'm sorry!"

He winces, but brushes it off.

"I'm fine.  Are you okay?"  He pulls me to my feet.
