After the wedding, Charlie and I return to Romania.    Charlie doesn't mention anything in regards to the wedding, and I don't ask.  I've been trying really hard to get over Fred, but every time I think I'm getting there, the thoughts of him come back stronger than ever.  I just want to be rid of him.

I start writing both Snape and Draco once a week, and it sounds like Snape is recovering well.  Andromeda visits the sanctuary in September, and is quite charmed by my roommate.  When I tell her we aren't dating she straight up tells me I should fix that.

Charlie is amazing, and attractive, and everything a girl could probably want.  And I'm not going to lie, I do consider it on occasion.  But it doesn't come naturally.  He doesn't make my heart flutter and my stomach fill with butterflies.  Sometimes I wish I did feel that for him.  It would be easier.

Teddy is growing like crazy.  At five months he's rolling and sitting up.  He's starting to babble, constantly squealing nonsense that makes everyone smile.  I don't think it will be long until he starts crawling.

The end of September is here, and I'm working full time in the potions lab.  I've set up a gated off area in the back corner of the room for Teddy.  Charlie has bought the kid so many stuffed dragons, that I'm starting to think he's trying to turn the baby into a dragon trainer as well.

I peek behind me at the baby as he shoves the snout of one of the toys in his mouth, chewing on it with his toothless grin.  I chuckle softly, turning back to the potion I'm brewing.  I've been working on altering the Fire-Protection Potion to make it resistant to dragon fire.  I've gotten close a few times, but I'm still a bit off.

I just finish, leaving the potion to simmer for ninety minutes when someone knocks on the door.

"Come in!"  I call, swiveling around on my padded stool.  Rosa opens the door and steps inside.  Behind her, another woman smiles at me.  She has long dark brown hair and eyes so brown they almost look black.  Her perfect caramel skin shines in the golden light of the room, and my cheeks immediately flush.

"Hey Hazel!  I wanted to introduce you someone.  This is April.  She used to work here a few years ago, but it back after doing some training in the states.  She's one of out healers, so you'll be working with her quite a bit."  Rosa nods to the beautiful woman.

"Hello, it's nice to meet you."  She offers me her hand and I shake it, hoping she won't notice that my hands have started sweating a bit.  Teddy screams from the corner, startling all three of us.

"Ah, seems like someone got jealous that no one was paying attention to him."  I laugh, turning to look at him.  He sits on the floor, his hands raised, asking to be picked up.  I hop down off the stool and scoop him up.  "This is Teddy."

"He's so cute!"  April coos, holding her hand out to him.  Teddy grabs her finger and tries to shove it into his mouth.  She laughs, resisting his tugging.  "Sorry buddy.  Can't let you do that."

"I think he's starting to teeth."  I explain, smiling at my little boy.

"And look at that hair."  She tilts her head as if considering something.  "Who's his father?"

"Um."  I freeze, not expecting such an intrusive question.  "Remus Lupin."

"Oh, just wondering."  She flashes a smile, her shoulders relaxing slightly.

"His parents passed back in May."  I the briefest explanation, not wanting to insinuate that I had a kid with Lupin.

"Really?  But his eyes are identical to yours!  I would have never guessed."  She tickles Teddy's tummy and he giggles.
