I scramble after Anthony, trying to keep up with his long legs. He strides confidently back to the office, the gargoyle moving as soon as he approaches. How did he do that? It is only supposed to open with a password, or if someone on the other side lets you in. I enter behind him, worried how this interaction is going to go down.
"What do you need, Schmidt?" Greyback asks, large arms crossed across his chest.
"I came to ask the headmaster a question." He smirks, turning to Snape.
"What is it?" Snape sounds annoyed.
"I would like permission to borrow your pet." He declares, and I hide my face in my hands. To my surprise, Greyback chuckles loudly.
"I have no issues with this, as long as she is okay with it. She gets quite upset otherwise."
I gape at the headmaster in surprise. I was not expecting him to say that. Snape look at me, and I hear his voice echo in my head.
Time to move on, Taylor.
So that's why. He's giving me the opportunity to try and get past Fred.
"Of course. Thank you very much. We'll be going now." Anthony grabs my hand and pulls me back out of the office. Once alone in the hall once more, he grins down at me. "Well that went perfectly."
"I can't believe you did that!" I exclaim, both embarrassed and impressed.
"Now all I need is your permission." He winks and licks his lips.
"Well, that one you'll have to work a bit harder for." I say, turning and marching down the hall. He chuckles as he follows me.
"Let's resume the tour, hmm?" I announce, trying to keep calm. "Perhaps you'd like to see the library?"
"Or you could show me your bed." He whispers in my ear, his breath sending a shiver through me.
"I share with the Headmaster, so no. Despite his generosity with you regarding myself, I am confident he will curse you greatly if you intrude upon his private living space."
"On second thought, let's go to the library." He agrees, stepping back. I suppose the thought of Snape's bedroom turned him off a bit. I fight back a smile as I lead him through the school.
He shows some mild interest in the library, taking note of the restricted section. But before he can ask about going in, classes let out, and I tell him that it's time for lunch. We make our way back to the Great Hall, and when I enter, I am surprised to find Greyback in my seat. I frown, not liking his dirty hands touching my things.
"I guess Greyback wants to be Snape's pet today." Anthony murmurs in my ear, causing me to choke on my spit. Still coughing, I sit down at the Hufflepuff table, not knowing where else to go. The hall is less full than it ever was when I was a student. I would guess that at least a third of the students were absent.
"Sitting here, we could pretend to be school sweethearts." Anthony teases with a smile. "What house do you think I'd be from?"
"Hmm, that's tough. I don't know you very well." I think about it for a moment. "Probably a Gryffindor."
"A Gryffindor? I don't get to be a scheming little snake?" He pouts.
"If you were Slytherin you would have tried to sleep with me without the headmaster's permission. You have the reckless confidence of a Gryffindor." I point out, earning a laugh from him.
"Alright, that's fair enough." He shakes his head. "Would you ever sleep with a Gryffindor?"
"I guess you'll have to find out." I quip, as the meal appears on the table in front of us.
"I look forward to it."

After the meal, I show Anthony around a bit more. I point out some of the classrooms and such. I am careful not to reveal too much though. I'd rather not give Greyback dormitory locations or anything. I've heard he enjoys turning children. Feels like it's got some pedo roots, and that makes me want to set him on fire.
So instead I take Anthony up to the astronomy tower.
What I'm not expecting is my own reaction to being up here.
Memories from the night of my birthday hit me hard, causing my head to go dizzy and my hands to shake. I try to get a grip on myself. I can have a breakdown later, now is not the time. Anthony must notice something off about me though.
"Hey, you okay, Taylor?" He asks, shoving his hands into his pockets.
"Yeah, I just don't like it up here." I lie.
"Why not? Seems like it's the perfect place for shagging." He leans in so close our noses almost brush.
"No, it's not." I snap, turning away with a huff.
"Okay, okay, you're probably right. It'd get a bit chilly after a bit. Especially if you started taking off clothes."
"Yeah, exactly." I agree. There is no way I'm telling him the real reason, and his seems good enough. I try and shift the subject. "Well, this is pretty much everything there is to see at Hogwarts."
"Not quite." He argues.
"What do you mean?" I ask, frowning. Did I miss something important? I don't think I did.
"You have to show me your favorite spot." His eyes sparkle mischievously.
"What? No. It's not interesting." I argue.
"I don't care, show me anyway."
"Fine, but you can't embarrass me." I cave.
"Embarrass you?" He questions with a snort.
"Yes. You have to be nice." I demand, heading back to the stairs.
"And if I'm not nice?" He challenges, his tone playful.
"Have you ever heard of the Bat-Bogey hex?" I hint, grinning as I walk down the steps in front of him.
"Nope, and I don't think I want to." He declares.
"Perfect. Let's go." I take him down to my favorite place, which is of course, the kitchens. This is the place that feels the most like home to me.
"Are we even supposed to be down here?" He asks, watching a house elf pass.
"It's fine. I come here all the time." I assure him, taking him to my usual spot. "Now it you aren't polite to Rita...". I trail off, and he winces at the thought of the bat-bogey hex.
"I will be the perfect gentleman." He promises. I round the last corner and take my seat by he fire. A moment later, Rita rushes over, smiling from ear to ear.
"Miss Hazel! I'm so happy to see you! Would you like something to eat?" The small creature asks, beaming up at me.
"Just some tea and biscuits please." I request, watching as she scuttles away to fulfill my request.
"So this is your favorite place?" Anthony asks, leaning on the table between us.
"Yeah. Seventh year was rough, so I came here a lot to cope." I shrug, staring into the fire.
"Sure, I bet you being all your boys here." He teases with a smirk. My eyes betray me, glancing at the pantry door. "You do!"
"Not exactly. I just ran into one here once." I blush, remembering the pantry scene.
"Ran into?"
"Hooked up in the pantry with." I admit with a groan. Anthony stares at me for a moment before busting out laughing.
"It's not funny!" I scowl.
"It is a little bit." He grins, sitting back as Rita returns with the tea and biscuits. "So you say no to the astronomy tower, but yes to the kitchen pantry."
"Shut up and eat your biscuits." I grumble, unable to stop my smile. I suppose it is a little bit funny after all.
