When my eyes slowly opened, the sun had already risen, casting its bright rays across the sky, but there was no warmth or brightness in my fate. The first thing my gaze fixated on was the balcony where his door hung slightly open. At that moment, a flood of memories from the day before surged through my mind like a relentless playback on an old tape recorder.

It was 9:30 at night, and we had just finished dinner. I was putting Aarush to sleep in his cot. Today, Aarush played the whole day with Rishab, Sonu, Savitri Maa, Papa, and Rani Kaki. He didn't take an evening nap and is now snoring lazily. Well, that's good. He was exhausted; maybe he wouldn't wake up the entire night. That would be good for me too, or else he wakes up five to six times during the night.
After settling Aarush comfortably in his baby cot, I sat on the bed and admired him. My baby is so adorable and cute! I cooed as I looked at him. Suddenly, I felt like taking his photo. I grabbed my phone and started capturing cute pictures of Aarush while he slept. While browsing through the photos on my bed, I thought of sharing them on social media as a story.
