Hellooo, my lovely readers! 🥰✨
I don't even know where to start. Every time I think about The Cupid Play, my heart feels so full and overwhelmed. 💕 Even though it's been a while since this book was completed, it still feels so fresh, like it's brand new.
When I started this book a year ago, it was just a little something I did for fun, you know? A hobby to pass the time. But slowly, it became so much more. It turned into a passion, something I can't imagine my life without now. 🥹
Here's a little secret: The Cupid Play isn't my first book. My very first was Just Friends? But back then, I didn't complete it-I stopped halfway through, unsure of how to continue. I always thought I'd come back to it someday with a better story plot. That's when I decided to focus on The Cupid Play, and oh boy, what a journey it has been!
This book is incredibly close to my heart because it introduced Aarush-my first-ever book baby! 🥺😭 The love I have for this story and these characters is beyond words, and seeing you all love it just as much makes it even more special. 💖✨
I know this book didn't get the views I expected, but this message is for all my sincere readers who took the time to enjoy and appreciate this book. You all made this journey so, so worth it. 🥹✨ I hope that someday, The Cupid Play might find its way into the category of the Top 10 in India-touch wood! And maybe, my other books will hit the same category too-again, touch wood!
Writing this book wasn't without its challenges. I experimented with a mix of soft romance and darker themes, and of course, I incorporated my favorite trope: single parents. But I wanted to create something unique. Most single-parent stories focus on the surviving parent's unconditional love for their child. I decided to explore a different angle.
I know some of you hated Aarav for his initial resentment toward Aarush, but that's exactly the journey I wanted to portray-a father-son relationship mending bit by bit, step by step. Rhea's trauma, her healing with Aarav, and the central role Aarush played in their story-it was all so deliberate and heartfelt. I wanted to tell a story of growth, pain, and eventually, healing.🌸
Here's another secret: I always dreamed of making this book a Series! A story for all three siblings-Aarush, Ritik, and Arvi. But that's up to you guys! 🤗 If you want more, I'd love to dive back into their worlds and bring their stories to life. ✨
THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for being part of this incredible journey. 🥰 For every comment, vote, and moment you've shared with me-I can't thank you enough. 🥹💝 Your love and support made The Cupid Play what it is today, and I'm forever grateful. 🫶
Here's to more stories, more emotions, and more adventures together! 🥂✨
Love always,
