I had ordered everyone that Rhea should not see any of this. I knew she would be watching the drama unfold on the CCTV out of curiosity. I didn't want her to witness any of this, especially when that person's face was revealed. I knew he would definitely come, which is why I had instructed everyone to black out the CCTV.
But I guess it's too late-Rhea must have seen everything, including that person's face. She was now standing in front of me, near the main door, her expression clearly showing that she had rushed here in a panic.
The person's back was the first thing she saw as he was facing away from her, and then her eyes met mine. Sadness, pain, and betrayal were all visible in her eyes. Raghav was now restrained by our men.
Of the two other masked men, one was held by Arjun and Harish-who was of no use to me and the other traitor was standing in front of me, shaking with fear. Rhea's face showed disbelief as if she couldn't comprehend what she was seeing.
A sob escaped her lips, and she covered her mouth with her hands. Hearing her, the person turned towards her. Rhea shook her head in denial. She took two steps back when suddenly a hand with a knife came around her throat from behind, shocking me to the core.
The man was one of Raghav's men who had been pretending to be dead, lying just near the main door where Rhea was standing.
Taking advantage of our vulnerability, he got up and held her with the knife. Time seemed to freeze for a moment as I processed what was happening. Her sobs grew louder, and she struggled to break free, but the knife pressed closer to her throat.
"Rhea!" I shouted, taking a step forward, but the knife pressed harder against her skin, a silent warning. The room was filled with tension as everyone watched, unsure of what would happen next.
The man holding the knife sneered, "Stay back, or she gets hurt."
I clenched my fists, trying to keep my composure. "Let her go," I demanded, my voice steady despite the turmoil inside me.
Rhea's eyes were filled with tears, her body trembling. "Aarav, please..." she whispered, her voice barely audible.
"Don't you dare to hurt her!" I shouted, stepping forward, only to back up when she cried louder as the knife pricked her skin, drawing some blood. "Okay, okay-leave her," I said.
