Humans Are Troublesome

"Maurice I summoned you here for a status update. Please get on with it! Have you secured my fiancé", The Queen spoke with a haughty  tone.

"Yes boss! We have him safely locked away", Maurice stated between puffs on his cigar.

"Did you give him the fruit? What were the effects?"

"Regrettably boss ooh ooh ooh the venom from the waasperns has hampered the process."

"How long until we have an idea if it was successful?"

"I will make another crossing later today, I placed a temporal anchor at the safe house. You can come with me ooh ooh ooh if you wish to see for yourself."

She made a face of disgust, "ughhh!The last time I crossed over, I couldn't get the stench of humans out of my clothes. I had to get a whole new wardrobe. I trust that you can achieve positive results. While on the subject of humans, how is your new ugly pet?"

"She is adjusting to the life of servitude well, ooh ooh ooh I still need to chain her up, to make sure that she doesn't cause trouble"

"Good, good make sure that you are not lenient with it, humans are troublesome. If I sense any problems, I will have it exterminated"

"She will ooh ooh ooh not be a problem"

........Breaking out of here should not be a problem, Ginny assured herself. But she needed a plan, she has no idea where she was, or how to get back home. Besides, she was getting hungry, just thinking of her lost milk tea snacks is making her stomach rumble. Her chain was just long enough to be able to peek out of the window. She would need a disguise if she was going to move around outside. 

The first thing she noticed was the light outside of the little shack was unnatural, too yellow. A menagerie unfolded before her eyes, beasts in every combination imaginable: Pigs with peacocks tails, Peacocks with pigs tails, even wolves with legs akin to spiders. It suddenly dawned upon her that being a human was a major drawback to her escape plan. 

From out of nowhere, awkwardly landing in front of her on her window sill was a mouse with red and purple butterfly wings.

In a tiny squeaky voice she thought she heard it say, "rejoice! The prophets foretold your coming, chubby human girl you are our people's salvation!!"
