What've you been up to? Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner but I've been rushed off my feet with Christmas show rehearsals. How were your mid-terms? Bet you'll pass them all with flying colours!
Believe it or not, last year I went on the same school trip you're going on. To be honest, Paris is a wonderful cosmopolitan city full of history. When I went there, I visited the Eiffel Tower, L' Arc de Triumph and the Louvre. I guarantee those are awesome places to learn about the French Revolution! You should definitely visit them!
Actually, you should bear in mind that the French aren't comfortable speaking English so make sure you brush up on your French! By the way, the weather in January is very cold and rainy, so you should wear warm clothes and a raincoat. Despite the bad weather, I still had a blast! The best part about traveling alone was letting my hair down and not having to constantly ask my parents for permission. I got to be more independent and responsible in the meantime. It's a dream come true. I know you'll love it!
