Hi! What's up? Hope you're fine! Sorry I haven't been in touch lately, just been drowning in schoolwork! How were your midterms? Bet you passed with flying colours!
Guess what? Something weird happened today! My family and I went on a trip to [city] and we just so happened to be out shopping this evening when we saw a young boy looking confused in the shopping centre. He was basically tear-eyed and calling out for his mum. My heart sank at the sight! Of course, we ran up to him and asked him what was up. As you may already have guessed, the boy was lost... We introduced ourselves and then we went around looking for his family while holding him by the hand. All of a sudden, a teenage girl came up to us and hugged the boy. Thankfully, it was his older sister! Perfect timing, right? I immediately let out a sigh of relief!
By the way, she kept insisting on paying us back and we just had to give in! That's how we ended up chatting in a coffee shop with her lovely family the same evening! Anyway, the boy's sister, Anna and I are planning on getting together this weekend. Want to join us? I think you two will get along quite well!
Anyway, got to go now, mum's nagging me to do chores again! Write back soon and fill me in on your news!
