TYPE OF REPORT: Single topic: Positive & Negative aspects
The School Library
Introduction
The aim of this report is to discuss our school library by highlighting its positive and negative aspects as well as suggesting ways to improve it.
Positive Aspects
According to many students, they can do research in the library because there are books and CDs on all topics. Hence, they can work on their assignments there. Moreover, it is the quietest place at school as there are strict rules that do not allow students to be loud. As a result, they can focus on their work and be productive.
Negative Aspects
It has also been mentioned that there are too many outdated books in our library since the school has not invested in buying newly published ones in years. Thus, students cannot learn about the recent groundbreaking innovations in science. In addition, it is too dark in the library because the lighting is dull. Therefore, students studying there strain their eyes and develop headaches.
Recommendations
Taking everything into account, although the school library is useful and allows students to do research, there is still room for improvement. Therefore, I would recommend we buy new up-to-date books and invest in individual desk lamps to encourage students to study harder and progress.
