TOPIC: You're telling your friend about a new school club you've joined.
Dear [friend's name],
Hi! What have you been up to? Hope you're doing fine! Sorry I haven't been in touch, just been up to my ears in schoolwork and projects. How was that test you've been talking about? Bet you passed with flying colours!
Guess what? I've recently joined a new club at school! And I love it! Basically, I had just been checking out the notice board at school and saw an announcement about a new tutoring club. I showed up once and decided to sign up right after! Turns out, there are lots of cool people there and we all help each other study. I helped a girl with further maths and thankfully, got some help with Ancient Greek. I was so glad because I couldn't figure it out for the life of me!
Well, what I loved most about it was how we all present some type of educational video once a week. A guy once showed us a documentary about alien conspiracy theories! Cool, right? You'd have loved it! Honestly, you should join, too. Studying would be so much more fun! Best of all, you'd also ace all your tests!
Anyway, got to go, got deadlines to meet, you know! Write back soon and fill me in on your news!
Love,
[Your name]
