TOPIC: End of school year show.
A Moving School Show
Last Friday I attended my younger sister's end-of-school-year show since she has finally graduated middle school. The show took place at her school theatre. All 9th graders contributed in their own way and were supported greatly by a variety of school clubs and of course, their teachers.
The first thing to mention is the spectacular program the students came up with. It included a theatrical play, dance performances and live music played by the school band. Actually, my sister was the narrator throughout the event. Whilst there, I greeted my former teachers and chatted with them! Believe it or not, I was recording throughout the entire event as it was all too impressive and well-thought.
Best of all I'd consider the graduation ceremony: All 9th graders were awarded their diplomas and afterwards we all watched a video montage of them, which included clips taken throughout the past 3 years. It moved everybody to tears! Albeit original and well-intentioned, I believe it was rather unfair how a lot of students were not given enough screen time!
Overall, the show was dazzling and I had a blast! I highly recommend attending such an event to support your siblings. Trust me, you won't regret it one bit once you turn up!
