TYPE OF REPORT: Comparing Two Topics: Benefits of both
Drama Vs. Cooking Lessons
Introduction
The aim of this report is to discuss whether our school should introduce drama or cooking lessons into the school curriculum by highlighting the positive aspects of both subjects as well as saying which one is not necessary.
Drama Lessons
According to some students, during drama lessons, we learn more about human psychology and behavior because we are asked to act out roles with a mentality and personality much different from ours. Hence, we become more aware of how society works. Moreover, we can understand people's mood judging by their physical movements as acting heavily relies on gestures. Thus, we learn to analyze body language.
Cooking Lessons
It has also been mentioned that during cooking lessons we learn not to rely on fast food by cooking healthier dishes, instead. As a result, we lead healthier lives. Additionally, we become independent because we learn to care for ourselves instead of having parents do that for us. Therefore, we are more responsible and capable as an adult.
My opinion
All in all, although drama lessons educate us on human behaviour, cooking lessons should be introduced because cooking is an essential skill for every adult. As a result, the average student will acquire a much-needed skill.
