Unfinished Homework for School
Introduction
The aim of this report is to discuss the current issue of students not doing their homework by highlighting both the causes and effects that eventually occur, as well as recommend ways the situation could be dealt with.
Causes
According to some students, the ever-increasing amount of homework is impossible to be taken care of in time. Thus, students fail to complete all of it. Moreover, the due dates homework is assigned are not always in accordance with their level of difficulty. Hence, students fail to keep on track.
Effects
It has been mentioned that students cannot make time to study for tests due to constantly working on assignments. Therefore, their grades/GPA decreases. Furthermore, classes cannot go forward with the syllabus at the required pace as time is made for those who did not do their homework to catch up. As a result, teachers rush when teaching new concepts, which is not always effective for learning.
Recommendations
All in all, although homework is essential to a student's grades, it ends up causing lots of stress. Therefore, I would suggest the amount assigned is decreased and that teachers are more flexible with deadlines. As a result, students will have an easier time juggling all responsibilities.
