A Special Journey
Have you ever wondered if any of the journeys you have been on had a significant impact on your life? By traveling you can broaden your horizons and expand on already-existing knowledge.
There is no doubt that some journeys are more special than others. For me, that would be flying with my parents and sibling(s) to [country], my mother's homeland. Undoubtedly, flying with my family is already special enough as is since we spend time together. Additionally, the destination itself adds to the excitement, as it is a country of origin to us, too, in a way.
Needless to say, there are many reasons such journeys would be interesting. Firstly, I learned more about the locals' mentality and customs, through observing and interacting. Thus, I was exposed to a new way of thinking and acting. Moreover, I visited several monuments of high historical value. As a result, l had a better understanding of the country's history and culture.
Overall, journeys are a great way to unwind, as well as educate yourself. I believe everybody should be open-minded to go on a journey once in a while.
