In the present, Jeremy's buddy Chad Stuart arrived with his wife Meg.

"Chad the lad! You've arrived" said Jeremy.

"And Meg!" said Charles Wallace.

He jumped on Meg to give her a big hug.

"It's good to see you too, biscuits. But please be careful with my chest" said Meg.

"Why?" said Charles Wallace.

"Let's not discuss it now, lad" said Chad putting his hands on his own chest.

"Good idea. Charles Wallace was just telling us how he got the Redcoats to Rob Petrie's house" said Andy.

"The fans didn't see them, did they?" said Meg.

"Nope. No one saw them" said Calvin with a grin.

Charles Wallace and Calvin high-fived before the boy continued.

"I tessered the Redcoats to Mr Petrie's house" said Charles Wallace.

"Oh, goodness. I thought that was only for space travel" said Chad.

"They don't call it a wrinkle in time for nothing" said Sam.

"Is that what it is?" said Patty.

"Yeah; what exactly is this tesser thing?" said Andy.

"It's basically traveling the universe with your mind" said Sam.

"Cuckoo! So you can go to the moon without a spaceship?" said Patty.

"Any planet at all, really" said Meg.

"It's how our father got trapped in outer space" said Charles Wallace.

"Did he escape?" said Andy.

"Meg saved him" said Calvin.

"It doesn't surprise me one bit" said Chad kissing his wife on the cheek.

"Indeed. And she rescued Chad and Jeremy in one instance" said Batman.

"Oh yes. It's a gift, really" said Jeremy.

"Okay. So then what happened, bud?" said Robin to Charles Wallace.

"Well, I had a lot of explaining to do to Rob's wife" said Charles Wallace.

Rob's wife Laura was a little surprised to see her husband home early.

"That was so quick, darling" she said.

"Yeah, it's hard to explain how. Charles Wallace made my car disappear and... my only guess is he teleported my car home in a few seconds" said Rob.

"It's called a tesseract" said Charles Wallace.

"A tessa-what?" Fred stuttered.

"A tesseract. You see... imagine if a bug wanted to get from my left hand to my right hand" said Charles Wallace.

"He'd have to walk across your lap, eh?" said Ernie.

"Yeah. But if you use the right frequency and use the dimensions outside of time and space, the bug arrives in an instant" said Charles Wallace.

"I think I get it. This thing sorta wrinkles space to get us places" said Rob.

"And other planets" said Charles Wallace.

"That's a smashing method, little fella" said Ernie.

"Very smart, dear" Laura agreed.
