Chapter 10

"Tell me, bud, how did Mrs Petrie look in our colors?" said Calvin.

"Like an honorary Warrior, which I fondly consider her" said Charles Wallace. 

"Now... Jeremy and Andy tell me they didn't have a great time in England" said Sam.

"They didn't?" said Meg.

"No. It was as bad as Jeremy thought" said Andy.

"Jeremy knew it was gonna be bad?" said Robin.

"It always is when I go home" said Jeremy. 

"Did you at least have a good flight there?" said Batman.

"It was alright, I s'pose" said Jeremy. 

"So what happened in England that was so bad?" said Patty.

"Well, we were on our way to my parents house..." Jeremy began.

Jeremy and Andy were in a rented car driving through London.

"Jeremy, I'm really looking forward to meeting your parents" said Andy.

"Yes... but I'd best warn you. Remember we talked about how my father is?" said Jeremy.

"So he's a little strict. What's the big deal?" said Andy.

"He'll say you're a commoner. Since he married Mama, he's always turned them away just to keep his marriage to her" said Jeremy. 

"But he wouldn't turn away his own son, right?" said Andy.

"No, he's always loved me. He has betrayed me before, but I truly believe he loves me" said Jeremy. 

"Well, you never said anything bad about your mother" said Andy.

"She was never bad to anyone. Chad has met her; she likes him" said Jeremy.

"Well, if she likes Chad, there's a chance she'll love me" said Andy. 

"I know she'll like you. It's only Pa I'm worried about" said Jeremy.

"Hold on. Was this Andy's first time meeting Jeremy's parents?" said Calvin.

"I should have wished her luck" said Meg. 

"Why? What are they like?" said Robin.

"Jeremy's mother is a sweetheart, but his father is a little confusing" said Meg.

"So I found when I met him. He berates his children for associating with commoners, and yet, he was born one" said Andy. 

"He must have gotten this mindset from marrying a duchess" said Calvin. 

"That's exactly what it was. But my Mama isn't exactly a duchess. Her older sister is the real current duchess of Wellington" said Jeremy. 

"So as second in line, your mother married a movie producer?" said Charles Wallace.

"Yes. And changed him completely in terms of the way he sees his past lifestyle" said Jeremy.
