Trees changed their clothes from green to golden, orange and red as wind brushed against the branches, swaying their new clothes as if to help them show off how beautiful they were. Some trees, out of sympathy, dropped a few golden leaves on the dry ground, decorating the earth for the new season.

When trees wanted to do fashion designs, animals tried to store food for the upcoming winter, not daring to enjoy the new season for a second. There were squirrels every direction in royal garden, running back and forth while carrying nuts and other food. Not only squirrels, but also energetic ants. Black, red, brown, big, small, average there were many types of them.

During the past two months, Zadhea was busy, making plans for the future of her country that she almost didn't notice Summer had long gone.

Nevertheless, in the evenings, whenever she sat next to the tall window on a comfortable sofa in the corner her room, holding a pile of documents, she smelled the aroma of a damp woodland and witnessed her small feet turn a little pale because of the faint coldness, reminding her that autumn had finally begun. The sweetness of summery scents faded away as the air turned moist, forcing her to change her thin clothes to thicker ones.

One morning, she was sleeping like a crushed frog with her arms and legs spread over the giant bed, occupying every inch of it as her breathing sounded heavy when suddenly the door was opened with a bang and a middle aged woman entered like a tornado. Although she was noisy enough to wake up a person from his death, Zadhea didn't even move her eyes, much to the woman's displeasure.

"Rise and shine, sleeping beauty," She said a little loudly.

However, Zadhea didn't move, making the queen impatient.

"Waaaake uuuuuup!!!" Even louder.

Still Zadhea showed zero response.

"Hey, wake up lady!!!"

Running out of patience, the queen groaned, took the water jug on bedside table and splashed water on her face, screaming, "Wake uuuuuuuup!!!"

"Mooom!" Zadhea weakly opened her eyes and forced her tired body to lift up itself. "What are you doing? I'm exhausted."

Last night, she stayed awake all night and finished all her work since she had to go to the academy within two days. She really didn't want to go but her mother was determined. Margaret said she would change her mind the day she died, leaving Zadhea no room for further discussion.

Margaret sneered at her daughter's words and put her hands on either side of her hips, glaring at her. "Every day, you give me the same answer. How many times did I ask you to get ready to go shopping with me? Every time you say you are busy, you are busy! What are you doing inside a room all day, locking yourself? You only come out for practice. You even started eating in your room!"

"Mom." Zadhea was annoyed. "I have stuff to do."

"And what are they? Lady, why are you doing this to our entire country? You want to ridicule us? Humiliate us? See, you always wear the same clothes! Aren't you a girl?"

"What's wrong with my clothes?" Zadhea cried. "Don't worry. I won't wear pants and shirts for the academy. I'll wear the dresses you chose for me."

Queen Margaret didn't know what to do with her idiotic daughter. "I gave them for summer. It's winter approaching. Besides, those dresses are too old for you to wear."

"It's been four or five months only. Not four years! Why the need of wasting them? I can wear a coat over them when winter comes and that'll do the job perfectly."

"You sound like a poor girl," Margaret scoffed disdainfully. "You want to appear haggard Infront of kids from all over the world? You want the whole world to know that Edwina can't even afford to give their royal princess some proper dresses?"
