With a glass of milk in her hand, Stella pushed open the door to the infirmary without knocking first. Startled, Heidith reflexively threw the necklace under the pillow, appearing like a thief caught red-handed.

She flashed him a sweet smile, not asking what he had hidden. Although she was curious, she was especially calm that night. Seeing her composed state, Heidith relaxed as well, leaning against the headboard and half-closing his eyes.

When Stella put the glass down on the bedside table, Heidith thanked her naturally.

"Drink it while it's hot," She remarked in a gentle voice. "I'll stay here until you finish drinking so I can take the glass with me to wash."

Heidith nodded half-heartedly. Even though he had no desire to eat or drink anything at that moment, under Stella's watchful eyes, he was forced to gulp it down.

Seeing him finish everything without wasting a drop, Stella's face broke into a wide smile. "Good boy," she praised him like a gentle mother.

Heidith chuckled at her compliment. Soon, he felt his eyelids getting heavier and heavier. In no time, he dozed off like a dead person.

As soon as he fell asleep, Stella took the green snake out of her gown pocket and asked it to suck all the poison out of Heidith's body. Meanwhile, she slid her hand under his pillow, searching for what he had hidden from her. Her silver eyes flickered when she felt what it was.

Stella pulled out the gold necklace from under Heidith's pillow. When she examined the signature engraved on the pendant, she realized that it belonged to a royal family. She recognized Rodwef's royal symbol. Hence, she could confirm that it was obviously not Heidith's.

'Whose necklace is this?' she wondered.

"My task is over," the snake said, snapping Stella out of her thoughts.

She quickly put the gold necklace inside her pocket. "Okay. Let's leave."

"What's this?" The snake frowned as it got tangled with the gold necklace. It felt uncomfortable and unhappy sharing its small space with this foreign object.

Stella stepped out of the infirmary, closing the door behind her. "I don't know. I want to know too. That's why I took it from him."

"Isn't it none of your business?" The snake rolled its eyes. "Do you seriously think Heidith won't find out you stole his belongings? Do what you're supposed to do."

"Don't worry. He won't find out." Stella was confident. "By the way, will Heidith get better tomorrow? Are you sure about that?"

The snake nodded. "He'll completely recover the moment sunlight kisses the mountains."

"Oh, I see."

The next day, Zadhea woke up late. When she opened her eyes with difficulty, her stomach growled loudly, begging for food. Since she hadn't eaten properly the day before, Zadhea was starving. After quickly washing her face and getting dressed, she went to the dining hall for breakfast.

Other students had already finished eating when she arrived, but there were still a few students here and there.

Fortunately, Zadhea was able to get enough food to fill her stomach. Maintaining her elegance, she took small bites, as she had to think of her reputation most of the time.

"Did you hear that?" she heard a girl exclaim.

Zadhea furrowed her brows. She found that voice very familiar. Nevertheless, she didn't turn her head to see who it was.

The girl continued, "Our president is cured, thanks to Lady Stella's care. It's all because of her love for him. Isn't it sweet?" She squealed.

The other girls nodded in agreement.
