A boring day came to an end, allowing a new page to be flipped.
The next morning, Zadhea woke up early and got ready to attend her classes. She had missed many lessons, and now she started regretting it. She wanted to start everything all over again. She could catch up on the missed lessons gradually.
When her face made contact with cold water, she felt refreshed. A beautiful smile appeared on her lips as she hummed a song. She had a feeling that everything would be fine that day.
Last night, she had a beautiful dream.
In a garden filled with white roses, she was walking hand in hand with Heidith. Her long gown, which reached her ankles, was as white as snow. Heidith's suit was also completely white, and his aura was as bright as the sun. When he lowered his eyes and smiled at her, they curved into two small crescents, enchanting her.
His green eyes were captivating. There was no doubt. Zadhea felt as though she were melting in his gaze. Although she wanted him to keep smiling at her, she felt shy as her face flushed deep red. She couldn't help averting her eyes.
Zadhea felt sad that the dream ended so quickly. However, it was vivid in her mind, like a real memory. She knew it was the most beautiful dream she had ever had.
For the first time, she loved seeing Heidith in her dreams.
In the past, she had dreams about them together, but she liked none of them because she found them all crazy and creepy. As for this dream, she loved it so much that she wished it would come true.
Zadhea checked her schedule and discovered that her first class was about business, which made her happy since she loved studying that subject.
She was reading a book related to business when the teacher arrived.
"Okay, students," the teacher said, rubbing her palms together and looking excited. "Last time, we talked about how to promote your business. This time, I'd like to give you an activity. You'll get a whole month for this experiment.
First of all, let's discuss what an experiment is. In a business context, an experiment refers to testing a new idea, strategy, product, or process to see how it performs in the market. Businesses use experiments to gather information and insights before making larger investments or changes. Since you're still students, you can do something simple. Try to make a new product and test whether students want to buy it or not. If they love it, it means your business is a success.
Okay, you can divide into groups or do it individually. Choose on your own."
When the teacher left, the students began to talk among themselves.
Zadhea suddenly felt a little lonely. Since she was used to being an introvert, she thought of doing the experiment on her own when a boy pulled the chair next to hers before sitting on it.
"Simon?" Zadhea was surprised.
"Good morning, Zadie!" He greeted her cheerfully.
He was the merchant's son who wanted to be a scientist instead.
She greeted Simon back before asking why he was sitting next to her.
"I promised to be your partner, remember?" He smiled warmly at her. "But only if you'd like that, though."
Zadhea quickly nodded. "I'd love to work with you."
Simon looked around before fixing his eyes on hers. "I think this place isn't suitable for our experiment. If you don't mind, can you come with me to the library? We can use the second floor. It's empty most of the time."
