Everyone in the friend group ended up staying over at Kelce's after the party because no one could drive home, and it was already late. Rafe and Raven were cuddling on the small couch while they slept, and Raven heard Sarah gasp, causing her eyes to open quickly.
"Holy shit," Sarah smirked.
"It's not what it looks like-" Raven started defending herself.
"Oh yeah it is," Sarah grinned and pulled Raven up in a hug.
"Okay hold on," Raven led Sarah into the other room, and tried not to smile, "Listen-"
"You are totally crushing on Rafe, I mean I've known, but like have YOU known, when did you realize, how long have you two been, you know, I have so many questions, OH MY GOD! ARE YOU GUYS DAT-" Sarah got excited and Raven covered her mouth.
"We are NOT dating, we aren't even like, you know, considering it, I guess, we're a friends-with-benefits thing, Sarah I've been wanting to tell you for so long-" Raven started to smile.
"My BROTHER has got you BLUSHING, now that's a sentence that I never thought I'd say," Sarah grinned at Raven.
"I'm so glad you aren't mad- I was really afraid you would be," Raven let out a sigh of relief.
"MAD?! I'm RELIEVED, he's found someone like him, you two are very similar and can balance each other, and help each other, that's what he needs, what YOU need," She smiled and Raven threw her arms around Sarah.
"Sarah, I love you so much," Raven grinned.
"You need to tell me everything," both girls sat down at the dining room table and Raven grinned.
"Well, that one day where Rafe said I was sick, I wasn't, that's the night that everything started," Raven smiled and Sarah's jaw dropped and she started to smile.
"That's why he's been the way he has been," Sarah smiled.
"What do you mean?" Raven cocked an eyebrow.
"Happier, Ravey, he's been happier," Sarah grinned, causing Raven to smile.
"Well, like I said, we're not dating, not even thinking about it," Raven replied, "Also could we keep it just between us, and Kayla, she found out accidentally last night after I punched Kiara in the face three times- it's a long story," Raven sighed.
"Look at you, defending yourself," Sarah high-fived Raven and then smiled at her, "Of course, this can stay between us, I won't 'find out' until you want me to," Sarah smiled.
"You're the best friend I could ever ask for, holy shit," She brought Sarah into another hug and they hugged highly.
"I love you," Sarah pulled back and smirked, "Maybe one day, you and him will get married and you'll be my sister-in-law."
"OH GOD-" Raven's eyes widened at the thought of marriage and she rapidly shook her head no, "No no don't even want to THINK about that right now."
"Well, baby steps first, at least go on a date," Sarah laughed.
"Hah, yeah," Raven laughed, and Rafe appeared in the doorway of the dining room.
"What stalker?" Sarah laughed.
"Noticed you both were missing, that's all," He replied, leaning against the door frame.
"Yeah, we were making out," Raven wiggled her eyebrows, causing Sarah to laugh.
"Well, could you stop so we could go home, Wheezie texted me saying Dad wasn't going to be home today," Rafe rubbed his head.
"Yeah let me say goodbye to Top really quick," Sarah got up quickly, and Raben followed Rafe out to the car, after waving bye to everyone.
"You're staring at me again," Raven smirked.
"Do you want to go to Joe's with me tonight?" Rafe spat out.
"I'm sorry?" Raven smirked.
"You know, Joe's, the bar," He didn't take his eyes off of her while he waited for her answer.
"Like a date?" She raised an eyebrow.
"No, non-date," He replied fast.
"I'd have to check my schedule," She opened her calendar like she was checking it, "Looks like I'm free."
"Okay," He nodded, "We can sneak out around nine, I can tell Sarah I'm here and then you are uhm-"
"Surfing," Raven added.
"Yes! Surfing!"
He got in the driver's side when Sarah walked out of the house and Raven got in the back seat, so Sarah could sit in the passenger seat. They drove back to the house and all parted ways.
"Sarah, he asked he to go to Joe's with him tonight," Raven whispered to Sarah when they were walking inside.
"Who's?" Sarah raised an eyebrow.
"It's a bar, and it's really pretty, that's not the point though, we're sneaking out at 9 to go, but I'm gonna need help with an outfit, so I need you to secretly go pick out something for me, please," Raven looked at Sarah with pleading eyes and the biggest grin spread across Sarah's face.
"Well duh," She gave Raven a goofy grin and ran up to her room.
Raven stopped in the kitchen before heading upstairs to get a water bottle.
"Thank god someone drinks water in this house," Rose let out a laugh, causing Raven to jump, "Oh honey I didn't mean to scare you I'm sorry."
"No it's fine, just didn't see you sitting there," She laughed, then left the room, going upstairs.
"I have these three for you to choose from, HAVE FUN TONIGHT, I expect to hear about it all tomorrow," Sarah smiled.
"Sarah I'm leaving at nine," Raven laughed.
"Yeah but I'm going to take a nap, and probably sleep through the night," Sarah laughed, "So I'll see you tomorrow."
Sarah walked out of her room, and Raven picked which outfit she was going to wear, then laid on her bed, scrolling on her phone. Before she knew it it was 7:00 PM so she started to get ready. She put on the black jean shorts and the meshed black top with a white bikini top on under it and did her makeup quickly, then put on combat boots.
8:45 PM
She put her phone in her back pocket and walked to Rafe's room. Knocking on the door quietly.
