tic.

tac.

toe.

it's always been there.

it never went away.

"sorry- what!?"

seokjin exclaims, busily wearing his shoes while having his phone between his cheek and shoulder, listening to the other party. "go home, i'm not talking to you." he tells the other, hearing the latter retorting until the fight goes on.

"do you think that i'm really cheating on you!?"

"i mean i've already seen you do that for like five times, you're still that tough to deny that."

"ah, where are you even going to sleep on tonight then!?"

"that's for you to think about, and that's for me to worry on."

he then hisses, turning his phone off, quickly leaving the place, strolling outside before the house before she could even head home- slamming it shut with a small curse.

cheating.

cheating.

cheating.

seokjin is quite tired with the same old narrative, readying to pack his bags after one more infidelity.

after that-

he'll leave her, everything will finally be over.

the whole ride all along the journey had been so hectic- too tight in his head, annoying- the adrenaline rush was never leaving him, wondering where it all went wrong.

everything went wrong.

he couldn't help but scoff and wonder how he'll be able to solve this, but maybe it won't be.

when one's moral were no longer on the line- there's no reason for the other one to have the same wavelength.

no more.

"... you're basically dying."

ken chuckles, clicking the bottle with seokjin as he grunted softly- throwing his head back before closing his eyes. "man, it's just annoying- one more move, everything will be over." he whispers, taking one more sip on the beer.

"end it, there's no point in dragging it." ken murmurs, seeing seokjin pause- looking up at the ceiling- hearing him add. "why would you wait for another infidelity to happen? you know it's gonna happen again tonight." he sheepishly speaks, turning over to jin.

"... happen?" he asks, absent-mindedly, turning to ken for a moment as he received a nod.

"that's so stupid for you to stay when you know that there's always a third party involved." he shrugs, crossing his arms.

"quite stupid isn't it?" he chuckles, snorting- "i already saw it happening, i didn't knew why i even dated her."

"... quite an asshole." ken shrugs, seeing seokjin scoff and nod slowly- both taking a sip of their beers silently once more before the two of them were interrupted when they heard the door opening from the front porch, the two of them remaining silent for a moment as soon as they saw the guest.
