I'm currently sick as a corpse and I'm tired and my nose is running like crazy but I managed to pull through and finish this chapter. I wrote the first half a long time ago, so the quality is better, but you might be able to see the drop in quality towards the end. That's all, enjoy.

"Aaaahhh!" Cole screamed as he fell down into the pit leading to who knows where. The black ninja shut his eyes and covered his head as he fell, before finally coming into contact with the hard ground- no, it was a really thick mattress. If that hadn't been there, Cole might have turned into a human pancake.

Cole let out a sigh of relief as he checked sure he was still in one piece, which he indeed was. Cole slowly stood up, feet sinking a bit into the mattress when he suddenly heard a strange sound from above him.

Cole looked up, and his eyes widened at the sight of something else hurling down towards him. Quickly the Master of Earth ducked to the side, right before he felt the mattress move under him, as the other thing dropped down onto the mattress.

Cole let out a sigh of relief at another close call, before turning to face the thing. And the thing wasn't actually an object, it was a person. A person with very familiar (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes, a sleeveless new qi still on. Cole had to admit, it suited the boy.

"(y/n)?!" Cole let out, as (y/n), who had managed to land in a squatting position on the thick mattress, whipped his head towards Cole. At first he didn't say anything, but the next second, he stood up and pounced towards Cole, wrapping his arms around the black ninja tightly and tackling the black ninja to the mattress.

"(y-(y/n)?!" Cole was so shocked he stopped moving completely, but once his body and mind started processing things, the first thing he did was return the hug as the two moved to a sitting position. Neither of the two said anything else, and just kept hugging without an idea what else to do.

"I'm happy you and Jay made up." (y/n) suddenly spoke, not even looking up at Cole, probably in fear of breaking up the hug.

"I should have done it sooner, but yeah. I didn't think I would actually get through to you though." Cole gave him an answer of sorts as (y/n) finally, slowly pulled back.

"I really though it was all over, for us. But I really like you too, Cole. I was a bit scared of talking to you even." (y/n) sounded a bit fearful, but at least he wasn't giving Cole the cold shoulder anymore.

"I... can understand that. But why did you avoid all of us, not just me?" Cole decided to ask, as (y/n) went quiet. He debated about something in his head, before finally speaking up.

"For Zane. In the letter, it said the Tournament wasn't a team game. I feared that something might happen if we didn't play by Chen's rules."

"But that doesn't mean you had to act all mad at-" Cole tried to not sound disappointed, but his tone betrayed him.

"I was mad at you! You four were all acting like children the whole time! ...Although I was angrier at myself than any of you... sorry." (y/n) cracked a little smile, speaking only half of the truth. Yes, he was mad. Yes, he couldn't bring himself to speak to Cole, but that being the reason he had ignored the whole team was...

A whole lot of bullshit. Mad because the team was acting childish? They're always like that! It was all a bunch of lies, for the reason (y/n) avoided the entire team was because of...

"Ugh, you two are just sooo sweet! It's giving me a stomach ache." ...that. (y/n) had tried to ignore it, push it away from his head, but nothing seemed to work.

It wasn't like this before. Before the voice would leave, and suddenly return just to announce itself, then it would leave again. Then it started appearing every now and then to drop in to mock or laugh, sometimes to curse or scream.
