Set in stone (Ninjago x Male reader)

All of nothing

Please don't lose faith in me! There are better and worse chapters for all writers, okay! I'm not getting worse, right?!(I'm not right?!) Also, Quick question, I'd like to know which one is your favorite chapter so far, and why?

"No! Let me take his place! Please! I'll do it instead! Please! He's just-!"

(y/n) let out small scream as he woke up with a start. He had a nightmare, not the most pleasant one either. Well, nightmares are never pleasant. He managed to scare the other ninja awake too, it seemed, when Jay jumped and hit his head on the bed on top of his as Kai woke up from the sounds. Zane seemed to wake up rather unbothered while Cole jumped up from his bed and looked around rapidly with his fists clenched together. (y/n) placed a hand on his chest and concentrated on his breathing as Jay groaned from the floor. Their alarm clock rang only seconds after, and they got ready for some snake hunting early in the morning. So early in fact, that the sun hadn't even risen yet. Cole stared at (y/n), who was taking deep breaths, still sitting on his bed. When (y/n) noticed Cole staring, he too got up and quickly changed.

"Urgent mission, Ninja, head to Ninjago city, some lone Serpentine were spotted there." Wu explained as he pointed to the solar radar of Ninjago, which showed a red dot in Ninjago city. With a nod the Ninja headed to the deck and jumped one after one over the edge. (y/n) wrapped his arms around Cole tightly and held on as they hurled down towards the ground. The Ninjas vehicles soon enough appeared around them as (y/n) relaxed his hold on Cole and sat in the seat behind Cole.

There was a few minutes until they would be at Ninjago city. The Ninja were chatting with each other about this and that until Cole called to (y/n) from the drivers seat. 

"Did you have a nightmare?" He asked as the (f/c) ninja spoke up. 

"Yeah. I don't usually see nightmares, so it scared me really bad." (y/n) stated honestly before Jay spoke from the intercom.

"What was it about? The nightmare I mean." Jay spoke from his jet as (y/n) tried recalling the dream.

"It was something like... Umm, I think I was in the Monastery? Yes, I was in the monastery." (y/n) said.

"I was doing laundry when the four of you rushed in. You talked about who was supposed to be the green ninja." (y/n) continued before Zane spoke up.

"But we have already resolved that matter?" Zane added questioningly before (y/n) continued.

"Not long after, Garmadon suddenly appeared and tried to steal the golden weapons. He managed to knock everyone down, and was going to take the weapons when a green light shone and Lloyd appeared in front of him." (y/n) explained before going silent for a bit.

"He defeated Garmadon, but when Lloyd turned around, he seemed older, closer to our age." (y/n)'s expression turned grim before he spoke one more time.

"Suddenly, three different voices laughed from somewhere, and a pitch black darkness swept over Lloyd, that's when I woke up." (y/n) ended as Jay let out a small laugh from the intercom.

"Huh, that doesn't seem too bad." Jay said.

"It was scarier than I sounded it out to be." (y/n) stated as Cole glanced at him with a comforting smile.

"Well, it was just a nightmare, there's nothing to worry about." He said as (y/n) nodded in agreement. By now they had arrived in Ninjago city, when they saw a lone Venomari walking close by. The team nodded to each other and split up. (Y/n) approached the Venomari from behind and whistled, as the Venomari turned around in shock. It took off down the street, glancing back before turning to face forward again. The Venomari stopped when Zane approached it from the way he was headed. Zane used his shurikens to freeze the street as the Venomari took off into another direction. It stopped again when Jay appeared from the electricity lines and swung his nunchucks at the snake. The Venomari ran into an alley before tripping on some wooden boxes. With a swing of the Sword of Fire, Kai appeared from the corner and approached the Serpentine. The Venomari tried to run away, but instead fell back down as he collided with Cole.
