Okay I have so much to say so this time this authors note is gonna be long as hell, skip it if you want.
I had a LOT of ideas for this one, but in the end I went with a fairy-tale high school setting with like both classical style royalty but also technology, you know, like in Ever After High? (I watched one episode of that as inspiration) But unlike that show, there's no forced destiny stuff or anything. So yeah, not canon, just an extra, and this does not count as the weekly update.
I also just kinda decided to go all out on the craziness, nothing really makes sense, and it doesn't have to. Characters are all so out of character it kinda hurts.

I don't get why they look at us like that. We aren't that weird... are we? ...No. I mean, I don't think so. But If someone here is weird, it's-
"Why are you looking at me like that?" ...Not her.
"No reason." I quickly shot Nya's words down, ignoring the weird look she was giving me as I dropped my gaze to my lunch instead.
"Kai, are you monologuing in your head?" Darn.
"Well, no-" I tried to answer her, but I was cut off.
"Yes you are! I can see it from your face!" Darn.
"Well it's not a monologue now that you've interrupted me! But yes, I was monologuing." I admitted, since I had been caught, there was no reason to hide it anymore.
"Finally. And go on, just ... don't look at me like that, okay?" Fine. If that'll make you happy.
"Sure, sure, whatever you say, sis." Finally, I can go on.
Where was I? Oh, right! Being weird. Well, I guess Nya's a bit weird, being daughter of the Mad Hatter. But am I any different?
The two of us don't really act like our dad does, you know? He's... hard to communicate with, even for us.
The two of us don't even look alike, sound alike, or even act alike, but we're still called the Crazy Twins! Ugh...
The only thing crazy right now is the fact that everyone else is late for lunch period. I can't believe it! They are late for the best lunch in the world: chicken nuggets! They used to make them in like different shapes back in the day, too bad they don't do that anymore.
"Sorry we're late!" A sudden call made me stop eating, and check who the newcomers were.
From the voice alone I knew that one was Jay, and with a quick look I identified the two others as Zane and Cole.
