I was watching a certain dub of Ninjago, and I noticed that when Nya says that her suit is her favorite color, Cole just straight up says: "No it's not," Like damn, the dub fixed the fatal favorite color error in the show. Also it gave me an idea which I used in the chapter!
"Ahahahahaaa!!!" Manic laughter echoed from left, then right, then above him, and lastly below him.
"What do you want from us?!" Color's swirled in the sky until it looked like muddy puddle instead.
"The Green Ninja... I am... the Green ninja." The voice was haunting, inside and outside.
"Please, please!!! Stop this madness!" (y/n) could see himself in the corner of his eyes, but there were no mirrors anywhere. Why?
"Big bro."
"Brother."
"(y/n)." There was a flicker of light shining light above him as the noises all combined together into a mess of whispers and yells. Green light danced like a shadow behind (y/n), but it dissipated like sand grains into wind."Pathetic!" The bright light meanwhile only grew brighter and brighter, but suddenly it disappeared, and it was lights out again.
"I'm a... ghost!" The ground felt like quicksand, (y/n) tried to get himself free, run away, but he was already too far down.
"I can't... I can't. I can't do it!" Someone started sobbing, (y/n) didn't know who. It didn't sound like him. Or Morro, or Cole, or Nya, or...
"I wish you were never..." And (y/n) woke up from his dream with a gasp.
:D
Kai scowled, his eyes locked on the red flag set at the very top of the Bounty's mast.
"Seriously!" He groaned as he reached his fingers out, but missed the flag just barely before falling back down onto the deck.
"Aww, just short. Like your temper, Kai." Ronin called from his spot right next to the flag, tossing an apple up and down in his hand whip smirk.
"Let me try. I'm for sure a better Airjitzuer than you, Kai," another voice chimed in.
"Oh, yeah? And when did that happen?" Kai shot back skeptically.
"Like, now!" Jay exclaimed, launching himself into the air. But he too missed the flag, letting out a scream as he plummeted back to the deck, back first.
Kai couldn't help but let out a laugh. "Oh, yeah. That was so much better than me."
"It... it was!" Jay insisted, scrambling to his feet. As Ronin's snickering rang out from on top of the two.
"That wasn't Airjitzu, that was Failitzu."
"Or Stupiditzu," Kai added, but before Jay could say anything back, Wu walked over to Kai, Jay and Zane, who was silently standing by the two others.
"To master the powers of Airjitzu, we must uplift, not put each other down, Ronin." Though Wu started speaking to the three ninja, the last he said with his head lifted up towards the uninterested Ronin, who was barely looking back at Wu.
Ronin took a bite of his apple and replied with his mouth almost full, "You close shop for a week, you gotta let me have some fun."
The ex-pawn shop keeper watched as Zane tried to reach the flag, but missed. But at least he landed neatly on his feet, unlike Jay.
"Aren't Nindroids supposed to be precise?" Ronin questioned in a mocking tone as Kai let out a sigh.
"These new suits are heavy. Why can't we just use our old ones?" Kai complained as Wu turned to him.
