I was so excited to have my baby here with me. I couldn't go get her so I made Halle go do it, she should be back at any moment though. I was currently on set, I had just left from my visit with Celie and Mister so I had a little more down time than. Dani, Tasia and Colman. I could hear a bell and the director call for a lunch break. Damn I hadn't eaten all day, I even missed breakfast it was even worse that this hell hole didn't serve any refreshments, just water and granola bars I'm not no damn bird. I heard the dressing room door open and I jumped up hoping it's my babygirl, I frowned instinctively when I saw Fantasia.
"Am I a disappointment today?"
"No baby of course not." She walked in closing the door behind her.
"Why did you frown, who did you want to see?"
"Jade, she should be here soon. Well only if her and Halle didn't kill each other on the way here"
"Halle went to get her?"
"Yes"
"They argue a lot?"
"Like siblings, you add Chloe and it's over" we laughed. "How you feel about your scene?"
"Good, wish you could've been there to watch"
"I'll watch you after lunch" I checked my phone for a message or life 360 notification but I hadn't gotten anything.
"She'll be here soon. You seem nervous?"
"A little, she doesn't think coming here will be fun so I've been trying to find some things she can do"
"Take her to a museum or an aquarium, me and Zion are going this weekend you two should come with?"
"Yes, thank you she would love that" I hugged her I hadn't thought of that I've been looking for plays, a game close by or maybe just do a bunch of shopping because she loved to shop.
"Great It'll be fun." My phone vibrated and it was a notification from life 360. I smiled. "She must be here?" I nodded. "I'll head out so you can get her settled. I'm about to go get something to eat do you want anything?"
"No, not right now but thank you again Tasia" I quickly kissed her before I left my dressing room. I left the set and headed outside, I looked around the parking lot and saw her and Halle coming up the sidewalk. She saw me and I watched as a smile spread across her face I could tell she missed me. She made a huge fuss over me making her come to my job for the summer but she will be fine because I'm going to make this a fun experience.
"Hi mommy" she greeted when she reached me. I hugged her tightly.
"Hi princess, I missed you so much" I kissed her repeatedly.
"I missed you too" she said in between fighting my love off.
"Okay well I'll do it myself then-" Halle announced. "Thank you so much my only favorite niece for going to get my bad ass kid. Oh you're so very welcome auntie!" She said with so much attitude and headed inside. Me and Jade were stuck for a second before bursting out in laughter.
