It's been two days and mama was still pissed off at me for finding out how me and JP made Jakai. She wasn't really saying too much to me, it seemed like she was tired of me. I could always tell when someone was tired of me it always made me shut down. My bedroom door opened and Jade walked in.

"Hey Ari! You want to come to Starbucks with me, I'm going to go get Mia and Isaiah too."

"Nah I'm good."

"You want to stay in this house with all this tension?"

"I want to stay in my room." Jades lips twisted.

"Girl get the hell up." She pulled me into a sitting position and tossed my covers to the side. "You and mama need to get it together, I told you that you didn't have enough time for all that and he came later than he said he would you had to know you was getting caught."

"You think she gon put me out?"

"Girl no, that's something your mom would've done." I glared at her and she smiled. "Get up baby mama." I stood up from the bed and put on some socks and my slides and grabbed my keychain and my phone. "The bonnet."

"Oh." I snatched it off and tossed it on my bed. We walked out my room and down the stairs.

"Where y'all going?" Mama asked standing by the fridge, she grabbed a bottle of water and some fruit.

"To Starbucks, you want anything?" I asked.

"No." I'm surprised she didn't say anything about me going since she grounded me. We walked out the door and got in her car. I put my seat belt on and let my seat all the way back so I could lay down.

"I did not take you out of one bed just so you can make one in my car."

"Leave me alone I'm pregnant. I'm always tired." I closed my eyes and connected my phone to her Bluetooth. I played Jhene Aiko's Living room flow. Mia didn't live very far so we got to her house in 10 minutes. Jade texted her and she was out the door in two minutes, she got in the back seat and immediately vibed to the song that was playing which was. Belong to the city by PARTYNEXTDOOR.

"Hey Jade! Ari! You look ready to pop girl."

"I am, I can't wait to drop this kid."

"My sister couldn't wait to have my nephew now look at her pregnant with my niece."

"That's not about to be me. I'm one and done." My phone lit up with a message from a new friend of mine, she was new to our school and DC.
