I had just landed back in DC, I had been doing promo for my new movie. I just did my second Tyler Perry movie and it was my first time doing a thriller. I was a supporting actress and in the end, I ended up dying but I was so proud of myself because it was my first time, and seeing everything come together in the trailer, I believe I had done really well even Taraji told me she thought I did amazing. I was currently on my way home, I missed all of my babies and my wife so much seeing them on FaceTime isn't the same as being with them. The airport was 45 minutes from my house and I had been riding in this car for 30 minutes already, I slept on the plane so I had some energy but I was starving. It was noon on a Friday so I knew that the kids would be in school, but I could always go see my older babies. Having Zion and Marcell in the same city as us was great, he and his wife had gotten married 6 months ago and it was absolutely beautiful. He had Terrance walk him down the aisle which I thought was so cute and Dallas was one of his groomsmen. I could hear my stomach rumbling and all I could hope for was that maybe Taraji cooked or hopefully there was something quick to make in the house.

"Hungry?" My Uber driver asked. Her name was Lilia and she was an older Russian woman. I've actually ridden with her a few times, she was super sweet. I nodded. "We could stop somewhere if you want, we're gonna pass by some restaurants on the way."

"No, it's fine. We shouldn't be that far away, I'm sure there is something to eat at home."

"Okay, how long were you away this time?"

"Just a few days, but being away from my wife and kids it feels like forever."

"Oh, don't I know it? I felt the same way with my Jimmy." Her husband has been dead for 8 years and she always talks about him like he's still around. I just know that's how I would be if I were to ever lose Taraji. "He would leave for weeks at a time for work, and even though we would talk every day on the phone I miss him." She told me this all the time. Her husband was a pilot and she used to be a flight attendant until she got pregnant with her first child, she had three boys, and one has been deceased for 5 years now, may he rest in peace. I remember all of this because she repeats herself a lot and I don't mind listening to her. She had the cutest accent and was the sweetest little lady ever. I continued to hold a constant conversation with her until she realized something about me. "When I last saw you, you had a baby. Where is baby?"

"I had twins I told you that Ms Lilia." I realized very quickly that she forgot a few things sometimes. I've shown her the twins a few times but she'd still ask where they were. One time she felt bad when she saw that I wasn't pregnant and asked if I had a miscarriage.

"Twins?"

"Yes, do you want to see them?" She nodded as she pulled into my driveway, she turned in her seat and I showed her a couple of pictures of my babies.

"Awe, sweet babies. They look like the wife." She was honest too. I laughed.

"I'm not gonna argue with that, but I still think that my daughter looks like me."
