We were getting closer to finishing up the movie and I was so glad about it. I knew after the movie was announced here came all of the interviews and press conferences and I was honestly dreading it, I loved my girls and I'm so grateful to know them in a different light than the way everyone else knows who they are but I know I'm not getting paid for this shit so I'd rather stay home. It was the weekend so we were off and I was spending the day with my daughter. We'd gone out for lunch and then she wanted to go shopping so we were currently walking through the mall. She got three pairs of shoes excluding the matching ones she made me get and now she wanted us to have matching outfits.
"Mama I need to ask you something?" I looked at her and she looked nervous.
"Yeah?"
"I have a friend who is... in a predicament" I raised an eyebrow.
"What kind of predicament?"
"It's not good" She shook her head "This predicament is something my friend asked me not to talk about but I think she's in danger?" I'm about tired of her talking in circles I already knew exactly who she was talking about.
"Is it your god sister?" She stared at me. "What did she do?"
"Hold on before I tell you, you have to promise not to lose your mind?"
"Your both about to be in danger if you don't speak up"
"... She's been talking to this older guy, he's 19 and he has a kid" My mouth dropped that girl was fucking 16. "I think he's beating on her and now we think she's pregnant." We stopped walking.
"What the hell! Jade!" She didn't like being yelled at so I saw her face scrunch up and tell me to talk to her nice and I sighed. "Where is she now?"
"With him, I've met him before"
"When?"
"He picks her up from school" I didn't even know where to start asking questions so I started with the pregnancy. "Okay so she thinks she's pregnant? Did she take a test?"
"We did."
"Who the fuck is we?!"
"She didn't want to do it alone so I did it with her... It was negative"
