Zion was home from school, everyone was out of school actually so my house seemed a lot fuller now especially since Zion brought her boyfriend home with her. I didn't mind them staying here, they were both grown and I trust her Zion was very responsible. Both of my parents were also here for the summer.
"Mama, I'm about to go get Chinese you want to come?" Zion asked knocking on my door.
"Are you trying to die?"
"I'm getting a salad from Chick-Fil-A."
"Okay." I loved Chinese food, it was definitely one of my favorites. I grabbed my purse and we headed down the stairs. "Where are your grandparents?"
"Outside with the kids in the pool."
"Do they want anything?"
"The kids want shrimp fried rice and orange chicken. Everyone wants Egg rolls, grandma and papa want chicken and shrimp egg foo young. Mike is getting sesame seed chicken and mixed vegetables." Mike is one healthy thug, it was kind of surprising but I loved it for him. Everything he ate came with vegetables, he drank water throughout the day, if he asked for a snack he wanted fruit and he exercised every other day. He would run three miles then do his workout. Me and Zion tried to hang but we were good for a mile at most then we were tapping out. Dallas kept up with him a lot better than we did. My phone rang once we were in the car, she pulled out and I answered. It was my manager. She was telling me that she booked me for the roots picnic and a tribute concert next month. I was excited for both, if you knew anything about me you knew I loved to perform. I got off the phone with my manager and Zion played some music. "So how has your relationship been going?"
"Me and Taraji?"
"Are you dating someone else?"
"No. We're good, great actually."
"Am I going to be a bridesmaid soon?"
"I'm sick of you, Jade and Ari rushing us into marriage."
"Y'all been together forever, didn't you tell me you two were together before you even started filming."
"Thats true, but I was still figuring things out between me and Kendall and I ended things between us before we started filming."
"Why?"
"I was scared to be with her, I was worried about what people would think, how Kendall would react, I was scared of how fast I fell for her. We practiced for 6 months and in that time she became my everything."
