It was Monday morning and we had just gotten the kids off to school, Nadia usually came to get Dallas so she also dropped Keziah off at school too. Gabby was an early bird just like me so she had taken Kaavia to school and came back to shower and get dressed. I hadn't eaten anything this morning yet and I figured I should try and eat something, I went to make my coffee and started some oatmeal, Tasia was still asleep in bed and so were the twins. I grabbed my phone and dialed Ari's number, I had been worried about her since yesterday. Ari really loved Kiara so her cheating is probably eating her up. I waited for her to answer the phone and she didn't it went straight to voicemail, so I just hung up. I decided to call Jade I knew she was up getting ready for classes. I took my oatmeal off the stove and stirred it up before pouring the contents into my bowl. I waited for it to cool before adding some fruit.
"Hey, mama!"
"Hey, baby!" I greeted her back as I sat at the island.
"You miss me? I'll move back in right now."
"I do miss you, but if you moved back in you would have to share your old room with Dallas."
"... Um, who's the original, you better put him in the movie room or something."
"No. I'm not kicking him out of his room, you forfeited that when you chose to stay on campus."
"Yeah, yeah blame my man he said he couldn't live without me." We laughed.
"Where is Eli?"
"In the shower, oop, getting out of the shower. Hey bae." I rolled my eyes and saw that she was Facetiming me. I accepted it.
"Tell him I said hello."
"Mama says hello."
"Hey Mama Raji."
"Y'all coming to the center today?"
"Yes ma'am." I heard him answer.
"Aye ma, Dallas said he saw Kiara out with some girl named Giovanna?"
"Yeah, we were at the zoo and she was with her acting all suspicious."
"You know, she goes to my school, she's in one of my classes actually."
"She is?"
"Mhm, I'm about to be nosy now."
"Oh lord."
"Mhm, that's my sis and this homewrecker is breaking up a happy home."
"It can't be that happy if she's cheating."
"Nah you're right, but I know that Ari was happy she loved Kiara."
"I tried to call her before I called you, but she didn't answer. I want you to call her later or go see her before you come over to the center."
