I ended up not going to the dinner last night I called and told the host Ms Shonda Rhimes that I wouldn't be able to come and she was fine with it. Gabby blew up my phone with calls and text messages all night, so I blocked her ass. I hate that I ever was involved with this bitch. I was in the kitchen making a cup of coffee when Jade came in the kitchen with Jakai, of course she had the good baby. I could her Khalil right now, when I passed by her room she was trying to play music from her phone to calm him.
"You've been drinking a lot of coffee are you okay."
"I'm trying to stay up." I'm so damn exhausted I could pass out... literally.
"You want Jakai?"
"No I don't want neither one right now." I was up and down with Khalil all damn night. I could hear Khalils crying coming closer and closer, I've never wanted to hide from one of my kids so badly. I grabbed my coffee cup and walked out the house.
"Ma wait no please don't leave me!"
"I'm calling your Uncle."
"Ugh!" She yelled in frustration as I shut the door, I didn't even have anything with me. I walked around to the backyard and sat by the pool and called Terrance.
"Hey T."
"Are you coming over today?"
"I'm about to go into an interview but I can come over after. Why who needs a break?"
"Me! Ari has had Khalil for an hour and she can't handle it."
"He's colic, what can we do."
"Wait for the shit to pass, I swear I don't even want to look at another baby." For some reason I could hear a baby crying right now, I just couldn't get away. "Am I hearing shit?"
"What?"
"Mama!" I put my phone and cup down and jumped into the pool fully clothed. "Get out the pool, I just want him to stop crying for one second."
"Ari I can't do it right now."
"Please!" She started crying and I sighed and pulled myself up out of the pool. I took Khalil out her arms and rocked him, he smelled my scent and immediately calmed down. "See, he does so much better with you."
"What are you talking about, this is your son. You wanted him you better find a way to calm him."
"Is he colic?"
"Yes."
"Is that something that can be fixed at the hospital?"
"No. We just have to let it pass."
"Let it pass?! I'm going to pass if he doesn't stop screaming every 30 seconds." I could feel that his pamper was heavy.
"He needs to be changed." I held him out to her and she shook her head and backed away. "Ari take him." She shook her head again and ran away. My mouth dropped in shock that she ran away and left me with her baby. I'm soaking wet with a one month old. I grabbed my phone, leaving my coffee cup outside and headed in the house. I made Jade change Khalil then she brought him in my room, I noticed him asleep in his bassinet when I got out the shower. I got dressed and heard my doorbell go off.
