Alright, you guys. I keep bringing up Taraji's heart condition because she's been living with it for 9 years now. So yes the condition is getting worse. We'll just have to see if it gets any better.
F.M. Barrino-Henson
I had just gotten back in town it was noon and I knew everyone was at the center. I headed home to shower and change my clothes, I dressed in some jeans and a tank top and then left the house because I had an appointment to get to. I arrived at the shop I was going to, walked in, and gave my name to the lady at the front counter.
"Oh my gosh, Fantasia Barrino!"
"Hi, sweetheart." I smiled and shook her hand.
"I didn't think it was really you when you called. I'm sorry I'm fangirling. I love you."
"Thank you, I love my fans too."
"Well I don't want to hold you up, let me go get Ricardo. He's the best and he's not busy right now." I smiled as she told me to come to the back and led me to his station. I sat down in the chair while she went to go get Ricardo. They returned very quickly and he introduced himself to me.
"Nice to see you again." I've only ever gone to two people to get my tattoos done, Ricardo one of my friends back home. "So, what are you trying to get Mrs. Barrino?"
"Okay, well I want this name right here under my right breast and then I want a specific design with these initials in the clock." I grabbed the pen and paper and wrote down the initials I wanted and the name I wanted under my breast.
"This a long name."
"I know, but it doesn't matter, it's what I want." He nodded.
"Do you have a picture of the second tattoo you mentioned a clock?" I nodded and pulled out my phone to show him the inspiration. He studied it and asked to keep my phone out so he could copy the photo. "Where is this going?"
"On my right wrist." When he was ready to get started I laid back and let him start on the first one. It didn't take long for the name but when he started on the second one it took almost two hours. When he was finished, I paid and tipped him before leaving the shop. I had a few more pieces to go, I wanted to get my baby some flowers. I stopped at a flower shop and before getting out of my car I put on a hoodie. I got a large bouquet of her favorite flowers and paid for them. I left the flower shop and went to a jewelry store to pick up a custom new I had called in for Taraji yesterday. My jeweler said it would be ready by now so I went to pick it up.
"Hey, Alex."
"Hey, Tasia. I got it all wrapped up for you." It was a Cuban link necklace with my initials on it. After I paid for the necklace I left and went to a bakery and asked for a chocolate cupcake that they could write the number 58 on. This process didn't take very long, when the cupcake was done I also bought a single candle before leaving. I was now on my way to the center. When I got there I got out of the car grabbed everything I got for Taraji and headed inside. "I didn't see anyone inside so I figured they were outside. I went into Taraji's office and it was empty. I set the jewelry box on her desk and the cupcake, I opened the box and stuck the single candle inside. I saw her coffee cup on the desk and tossed it right in the trash, she needed to lay off the coffee. I took the flowers and went outside where everyone indeed was. I could easily spot Taraji on her knees right in between Chloe and Jade digging in the dirt and Halle had just stood up from the ground and wiped the sweat off of her forehead as Halo ran up to her. Ari, Zion, and Emani were all there as well. I walked up behind her shushing the children in the process because I wanted to surprise her. I tapped Taraji on the shoulder and she stood up before turning around.
